Subaru WRX/STI 2015+ Install Braum Racing Seats Pt. 1/2

In this video I'll be installing Braum Racing Seats in my 2015 Subaru WRX. These are the Elite Series in Maroon. Unfortunately I was not able to complete the installation in one video because I made a mistake and it was getting dark. Part 2 will come very soon!
Things you will need to complete the Installation:
3.3 ohm resistor for both passenger and driver side.
Seat bracket designed for your make and model car
6mm hex Tool
14mm socket

Did your air bag light stay off? I used one 3.3 ohm resistor and the airbag light came on after a few minutes

With the resistor did you use the 2 bigger holes or the 2 top smaller ones in the yellow part?

Wonder how your insurance cover would react to your seat change, especially the fact that you have removed the airbag protection. If you get injured in a crash the insurance might reduce a claim.

For the resistor modification will it work for all make of car like toyota scion tc?

Do they make bracket adjustments to raise the seats? I have a 4” cowl hood on my car and I’m afraid I won’t be able to see past it since these seats sit a lot lower.

It will be exactly the same except for the seat heaters. You will lose that feature unfortunately

Yes, the side airbags in the stock seats

I believe that was in series not parrallel.

series runs end to end, increasing resistance. These run along side of each other, like ends together, parallel, decreasing resistance.

Which two holes did you connect the resisters to? Were they the two directly in the middle beside each other or the two outer ones?

yes, you will need it for both sides since both seats have side air bags
