I remember working at Ford Motor Company when the first 2001 Bullitt was released. We had customers hovering over us with such eager anticipation, that our General Manager had to create distractions to keep them from pestering us. He repeatedly told them "They can't deliver your car if you keep distracting them from their jobs". The tech next to me was one of the first to accept delivery of one. He also managed to get special pricing being a long time employee of FoMoCo. Good times. Keep up the good work my friend.

Driving my 2008 Bullitt feels the most like my 68 of any Mustang I've driven. The better handling and brakes are a welcome addition over my first Mustang. I love the classics, but this is so much more drivable on a daily basis, especially as I age.

As somebody who drives a 2016 GT PP with 435 horse....this one looks just as fun, if not MORE fun! Gorgeous looking, and over 300 horse is a LOT for anybody, except racecar drivers, and people who have never driven a car!

I bought an 08 when they first came out and sold it in 10 and regretted it so much that I just bought a low mileage 08 again . I'm never letting this one go. Last of the old school cars :)

eddiet204 I did the samething. I had a 2007 GT.. I got rid of it and it was one of my biggest regrets.. Now I got a 2010 GT.. It's almost identical to my 2007. Black with black leather. The 2010 is a little bit more refined than my 07 I had. I dusted a Nissan 350 on the way home from work today :)

I like this version better than the 2019 bullit. Just love the retro front end round headlamps. Just the overall from end look much better than the newer mustang front ends.

@@hyssean12 I know it’s been a while since you posted it, but yes if you get smaller mufflers it makes a big difference in sound. Roush extremes are basically just muffler deletes though so it makes it a hell of a lot louder.

I saw a bullit on the way to work the other day. That's the second one I've seen in person. The ones that are still out there are being taken care of. Very very cool, besides the gt500 this is my favorite mustang of that generation.

As a recent owner of a 08 gt manual, I love it!! Not as fast as modern mustangs, of course, but way better styling. Is exactly why I wanted a 05-10 mustang gt. But so much fun, to drive. A v8 manual, with load exhaust. Is just plain enjoyable!

Your really putting out quite a bit of information on this Bullitt. I have a 2008 Bullitt and it doesn't have 350 Horsepower but 315 horsepower. The Bullitt your driving has a modified exhaust on it. I like my stock Bullitt Mustang but I could go for that throatier sound. I a week after taking delivery of my new Bullitt had to have a after market Glass Roof installed and I also had deep dish Wheels with knock-Offs installed. I didn't like the Ford Stero/Navigation that came with the car so I upgraded to the Pioneer Avic Z3 that is one fabulous system. I could very well be looking into acquiring a 2018 Fully equipped Bullitt so someone will be getting my fabulous Bullitt with all the kept in storage original equipment. My Bullitt is totally flawless and not a scratch to be found on it. I will be asking Top Dollar for my Bullitt in as much as a Ford Dealership doesn't offer any deal in taking my car with a fair trade in.

I think the 2008 Bullitt is the closest newer car you will get to the classic 60s fastback Mustangs. I just bought one and parked it beside my 2007 GT500 and I'm broke but HAPPY

I’ve owned a 01 Bullitt that I supercharged and recently own a 08 Bullitt that I supercharged along with aftermarket exhaust and roush racing suspension and it’s tough to explain which one I prefer. I loved my 01 that was my baby and first project type car and while it wasn’t as fast as my 08 there was something special about it. I’m still warming up to my 08 but I still love it. The 08 rides smoother and is more comfortable overall whereas my 01 felt like a race car it was like an extension of me when I drove it. But if anyone is looking to get a mustang i highly recommend bullitts 01 or 08 and what’s great about them is since they have heavier duty parts they’re easy to modify for more power without having to reinforce everything else. Also I like how he mentions how they tuned the exhaust to sound like the one from the 60s but when I supercharged my 01 I had to switch to straight pipe exhaust because the supercharged ate thru the cats and after I finished it I went home and watched the movie and listened to the exhaust and I swear when I went to straight pipes it sounded exactly like the one from the movie it was awesome!

I have this car with 16000 miles on it and it doesn't have a scratch on it. I have been criticized for adding a Custom CDC Glass roof but I always make changes to my vehicles and ignore some people saying that I should not have tampered with a Special Edition car.
