The cheapest car with super cruise is a ct4 for 55k. That feature alone is tempting me to Cadillac and I bet I’m not alone

i like the understated exterior and the collossal bumper and grille, the n/a v8 sounds awesome, the back hatch and taillights look like a space shuttle, futuristic tech and gadgets, GM...its gorgeous!

It is a behemoth, but a classy one. And a responsive 6.2L V8, which is a good choice. They also deserve "Kudos" for Super-Cruise. Thanks Matt.

Excellent review, Matt! I am so impressed with what Cadi has achieved with the new Escalade. It is truly world class luxury and I agree that it is the current segment leader. My only grip is that they need a new engine. The tried and true 6.2 is fine, but it's a gas hog. If I were to buy an Escalade, I would absolutely choose the 3.0 diesel over this engine. However, Cadi does need a couple more modern engines in their lineup, perhaps a 4.0 twin turbo, in order to achieve significantly better fuel economy because not everyone wants a diesel.

I think Caddy did a great job here. I'd love the 6.2, but would have to opt for the 3.0. Wonder if the braking sensitivity changes with the driving mode? The Super Drive is an achievement, but I actually like to drive. And I've never had any problem having a conversation while driving in the past. So it's not a big selling point for me. The outstanding interior is though. What i find interesting is how some reviewers can't stand the new Esky, while other love it. If they find a single part made with hard plastic it's garbage.

Jeez, that thing does look menacing. Really awesome, especially the super-cruise. One thing though you said the Tesla doesn't monitor you. It doesn't monitor you per-se, but you have to have your hands on the wheel or touch the wheels on the steering wheel or something. Any action keeps it awake. If you don't it'll disengage the autopilot. The Tesla autopilot is pretty sweet, but it's not epic. So based on what you're saying this is what the Tesla promised with the autopilot.

The interior is a vast upgrade, now one of the best in the industry, regardless of price The exterior is where GM dropped the ball. Watered down into a letdown. The last Escalade nailed it. This one looks like just another Tahoe trim. If you wanted your Escalade to look and feel softer and gentler than ever, you are in luck

He gives a lot of good info and is very knowledgeable but I think he should think about stepping out of his comfort zone and changing up his dialog/format. I've been subscribed for years but lately the channel seems like it hasn't been growing at the rate of what similar channels have.

The channel has been slow on subscriber growth for years. Maybe it's me, maybe it's the increased competition and new channels with better production value, better hosts and more exciting cars. Regardless, I don't think a new intro will help honestly. Wish it was that easy. I could do clickbait vlogs and crazy project cars if I only cared about views, but then I wouldn't enjoy what I do anymore.
