INGREDIENTS
3 Cups Spinach 1 Cup - 250ml, tightly packed
¼ Cup Moong Dal
¼ Cup Toor Dal
1 no Onion Finely chopped
1 no Tomato roughly chopped
1½ tsp Salt Adjust as needed
1 tsp Sambar Powder
TEMPERING
3 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
3 nos Green Chili slit
2 nos Red Chili
1 inch Ginger finely chopped
3 nos Garlic cloves finely chopped

Very well explained. Tried this today with tuvar dal . Added extra red chilly powder as the sambar powder is store bought and neds more kaaram. The recipe came out very well. Thank you.

Without ginger it will be better it's my opinion I used toprepare this masiyal with little bit tamarind

Mam, in naturopathy, they recommend to eat more greens in our daily life. They avoid salt nd use lemon, it will be yummy.

Same way, chop off 2" of end portion of thandu and wash thoroughly, chop roughly and use it. We can use the thandu for sambar and use only leaf for this masiyal too 🙏
