Read Quran with tarjuma written by different scholars first and try to grasp as much as u can. Then go for TAFSEER , of different scholars and absorb it leaving what contradicts with Quran. Personally I would advice to go for Maulana Maudodi first as it’s in very simple Urdu and English. Dr. Israr Sahibs Tafseer is also available now . Then later read others . I hope this will help u !

SubhanAllah, Excellent question. Actually Marium we all have been created to follow and this is for both men and women. If you talk about real life you can lead only by following, now that sounds weird, but indeed A great leader is a great follower. Jannat ki orton ki sardar Hazrat Fatima tu Zehra ne bhi apni poori zindagi Islam ko follow karte guzaar di aur jo burden un k sar tha kia woh aaj hamare uper hai? Unhen bhi Leadership tab mili jab un hon ne follow kia. You said if they have to lead then why not they have been given enough opportunities the answer to this is Allah has given enough opportunities to women if you look closely. e.g: bachon ki tarbiyah par sab se ziada ikhtiar kiska hai. Etc us k ilawa bhi Allah ne orat ka darjah bohot bara rakha hai.

Your questions have been answered beautifully but I just wanna add something more as you asked why women aren't given enough authority. The answer to this is simply hidden in the question of why women aren't willing to take this authority. We aren't weak but we consider ourselves weak. We aren't leader of our own life because we don't wanna be in the lead role. We are in such a mess because all we choose to be is weak mentally and even now the feminists who consider themselves to be the advocate of women rights aren't asking for rights, they just want freedom to do all the bad that men are doing without being judged for that and our religious women or those who belong to conservative families aren't willing to use their own minds to solve the problems because they think it should be done by men who themselves aren't on right track!

All they think is that Islam is about accepting whatever their parents and if married whatever their husbands want them to do and even think. We need to raise the standard of choosing our spouse first in the right way by telling our parents all our demands. When we will prioritize Deen over everything else rest will fall in the right place. And for those sisters who are already married at least try to learn and convince others to follow Allah's order the way it must be followed. And again the same thing pehly Khud tou philosophy clear karein and right psychology build karein. Being a mother means the women are already leaders of the upcoming leaders in Islam ان شاء اللّٰہ .

And sorry I gave too general answer as I don't know about your ability and capability nor anything about your goals. If you have a bigger purpose then go for it. I am against women who prefer to earn money and think it's leadership and their life goal. Because, Allah has created men for this purpose but yes if you have got a bigger goal then it's worth working for it. Otherwise, don't earn money for buying branded clothes and increasing bank balance. Leadership is not about creating more followers but it's about creating more leaders.
