Major Retired Shehbaz Khan was a close friend of Pakistan's first Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan. How did he bring his villagers to Pakistan? 1947 کی تقسیم کے ہیرو میجر ریٹائرڈ شہباز خان جنہوں نے سالارو گاؤں میں ہزاروں مسلمانوں کی جانیں بچائیں، اس وقت کی حکومت نے میجر ریٹائرڈ شہباز خان کے سر کی قیمت ایک لاکھ مقرر کی۔ میجر ریٹائرڈ شہباز خان پاکستان کے پہلے وزیر اعظم لیاقت علی خان کے قریبی دوست تھے۔ وہ اپنے گاؤں والوں کو پاکستان کیسے لے کر آے ؟ پوری کہانی میجر ریٹائرڈ شہباز خان کے بیٹے نے بتائی ہے۔
1947 ਦੇ ਬਟਵਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਹੀਰੋ ਮੇਜਰ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਡ ਸ਼ਹਿਬਾਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਸਲਾਰੋ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਬਚਾਈ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਜਰ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਡ ਸ਼ਹਿਬਾਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ 100,000 ਰੱਖੀ ਸੀ। ਮੇਜਰ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਡ ਸ਼ਾਹਬਾਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਲਿਆਕਤ ਅਲੀ ਖਾਨ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬੀ ਦੋਸਤ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ? ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਮੇਜਰ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਡ ਸ਼ਾਹਬਾਜ਼ ਖਾਨ ਦੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਨੇ ਦੱਸੀ ਹੈ।
