উল্লেখযোগ্য তথ্য হলো, এই গানটি আসলে রচনা করা হয়েছিল ১৯৪৩ সালে, নেতাজি সুভাষ চন্দ্র বসুকে আগমন করার জন্য। নেতাজি যখন ৩রা জুলাই সিঙ্গাপুরে প্রত্যাবর্তন করেন, তখন উচ্ছসিত হয়ে ওঠেন সেখানকার ৩৫ লক্ষ ভারতীয় এবং আজাদ হিন্দ ফৌজের জোয়ানরা। তাঁদের সীমাহীন আনন্দের বহিঃপ্রকাশ ছিল এই গান, যা নতুন রূপে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে আপনাদের সামনে, গুমনামী ছবির মাধ্যমে।

I am a bengali, however, writing in English so that my fellow friends from England can read this. This song was originally written by the INA soldiers. On July 2, 1943 mid day, this was sung by the INA soldiers greeting warm welcome to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose when he returned after a tiring 90 day submarine voyage to Singapore. Now, just going by the words of the song each and every soldier of the INA believed that Mr. Bose is the only person who can bring the change, that too in Independent India, in true sense, not the way independence was bought as a matter of compromise and in exchange of dividing India into India, Bangladesh, Pakistan & Sri Lanka.

India got independence because of Netaji's INA activity. This is not my word; this was said by British PM Mr. Atlee who signed India's Independence. He told this during his vist to governor house in Calcutta back in 1956. When asked what was the impact of Gandhijis non violent moment on Brexit (British exit from India....Lol) he uttered the word "minimal"
