Hello pimps... please remember as I said in the description that this is only one interpretation of the story behind the Patriarch and his cult at Jorvik Castle. The story of Trepang2 is very deep and puzzling at times and the way the story is set up, there may not be one right way to interpret the story anyway. Bear in mind too, that I am the only one I think on the entire planet right now making videos on Trepang2's story, so I'm mostly doing this by myself with the help of some pimps on discord (shoutout to nekronksnewgroove). My videos are not school projects that I have to turn in for a grade, they are made by a group of monkeys I keep in my basement and I try to make them as entertaining as possible, so take everything you see with a grain of salt (or maybe a boulder of it, my research skills suck.) Of course I'm not asking you guys to go easy on me or anything, feel free to smash dislike and leave a comment saying I'm a dumbass but only if you offer your own thoughts on Patty and his cult. I just recently beat it, but the intel and cycles got me hooked. I haven't touched the DLC so maybe it does get brought up, but I was looking forward to what might happen with Raven. Especially after the Unidentified Structure mission. Clearly something happened to the systems there, and Raven makes a comment about how his systems where starting to glitch when RTBing. Then nothing happened with that, nor the Oil Rig stuff so I came to KZbin looking for some story explanations and you're the only covering anything about the story of the game. So really, keep up the good work and I'll be looking forward to what you can dig up and piece together in the future!

Loving the quality of the video, especially with the comedic edits added in. As for the two cycles the Patriarch didn't kill, 85 and 69, there is another possibility where they might've been killed by cultists instead of the Patriarch himself. This is only a rough guess, though. Also, regarding the mallcop seen in the retirement cutscene, I do recall the cutscene showing the player's gloves in different colors as a placeholder for / to represent the other characters. However, in recent months, I saw this cutscene with the character's actual models instead; either they've fixed the cutscene via update, or replaced the models because I had the skins via DLC.

What makes subject 106 so special? What makes us better? Is 106's ability to load in after death apart of our canonical abilities? Are we a point, man? Or a beckett? What are we? Do we look more like 107 or a normal human. Beem woundering this since I beat the game about a year ago.

I don't think he's a robot, he seems more like some sort of fire spirit bound to a human body somehow, explaining why he fades away and his mask is visibly empty in his defeat cutscene (and why his cultists live fire, he may be strengthened by immolation). We know intangible spirits exist in this world from sites 83 and 23, and the Syndicate has a long history of hypocritically using anomalous tech in their Cycles, so him being some sort of attempt to fuse a bioengineered super soldier with a fire spirit is entirely plausible. It could also be a sign thay he's not entirely dead; after we "kill" him, his clothes drop to the ground but we see fire streaking out of them and away, possibly implying his now disembodied spirit is loose in the earth. Unrelatedly, the cultist taking about being "gifted with a child," had a pregant wife when he came in. He's speaking metaphorically, or more religiously; like saying "God blessed me with a child."

Considering the numbers on his helmet, I'm guessing the brother he talks about killing is 104. It's the only cycle that would have come after 91. As for the other two numbers I got no idea. Maybe they broke free from the syndicate before he did and he put the numbers on his helmet to remember them.

Just wanted to post something I noticed if you make a video about Subject 83, the voices you hear whenever you clear a wave of enemies around 83 (then approach the switches) are most along the lines of sighs of relief. My interpretation is that Subject 83 absorbs dead bodies and gets empowered by them, which isn't too dissimilar to how 106 experiences a rush of euphoria (represented in-game by the stamina boost) whenever he kills an enemy.

As for slecao, I have heard about it but it's not really my type of game- never liked any kind of BioShock/immersive sim type games and the overall feel of it doesn't interest me unfortunately

It has immersive sim type elements but more of in style of old f.e.a.r were go from a to b and sometimes you backtrack for some secrets but that about it and some stuff from half-life. You really should try it out and it has really fun gunfights. But I understand if your not interested.
