i bought it for $8.08 becaus ei bought the big package with the first... trax, poizone etc... i like it.... its a lot of kicks and subs and you can drag and drop your own kicks... but not the 808s... lets hope they change that

What's with the static/noise? Was that just part of the sample you chose? I wasn't a fan of that. Sounds broken.

It was the Pump plug-in that added noise.

@@ConsciousRobot to be honest, it was annoying while using, but I did adjust the pump's mix so that when I played it back, the noise level wouldn't be as high.

​@@jaunti What exactly is the "pump" plugin? and why did you have it on for this video? I just bought the plugin on sale but can't use it until I get a new computer in a couple weeks, but that demo kinda turned me off of it because of that. I'll still try it. Great video though!

@@ConsciousRobot The "Pump" plugin is used for instant sidechaining. It's primarily used for volume automation, and I use it to give my melodies some flavor. The noise was irritating, I'll admit, but that happens when the frequencies automate too quickly. Think of it like a LFO tool.

@@jaunti Hmm, I thought X-eight2 only had 2 samplers and limited FX. Seems I'm wrong on both counts, specs say there is also a sine layer like the x-sub layer in SublabXL and quite some FX. So, I guess their both great tools for 808s.

@@xgmode To me, they seem about equal. Just to start a discussion, I asked if X82 would replace SubLab. I'm not saying it's better, but both of these plugins perform well with 808s, kicks, and basses.

Fam, of course the current songs aren’t going to use 808s in their default settings. Everyone would be using the exact same 808s. I don’t, I always either tweak them to make them sound very different from each other or I make mine from scratch like any other producer would.
