Thank you for sharing your video. I do have a question I am just now sublimating my tiles I used to just do vinyl work on them. The ones I have are the really small ones should I do the same time that you are stating above in your video on those two or should I cut the time?
@FullHouseFancies3 жыл бұрын
It’ll probably take the same amount of time unless they’re really thin. You can check it several times throughout the process, just be careful not to cause ghosting when checking it.

Hi there. I just seen this video. I loved it. I have a question though. if I am making coasters with a 4 x 4 tile will the coaster be able to take heat from something like a coffee cup that has hot coffee with the laminate on the tile. I just started doing sublimation on sub tiles but i have a lot of regular tiles from home depot that I was thinking I could laminate so I can sublimate on the tiles.

Hmm…which printer do you have? I have a Sawgrass and use their program for printing so I hate to admit it but I know very little about changing color profiles since with a Sawgrass the color profiles are pretty much figured out and set for you.

why do you fold it over? I just lay the sheet over the tile and press it on then trim the extra off after i press it.

@FullHouseFancies2 жыл бұрын
Sorry I didn’t see this earlier. As long as the laminate stays on the tiles, the sublimated image would be permanent. Not sure if the laminate would stand the test of time in the kitchen though. With light wipe downs and if it’s not really close to the stove etc, I think it could work.
