Hello, Your video is misleading. The title states " Sublimation INTERIOR motto mugs. I was expecting a tutorial on how to sublimate inside of mugs not the outside.

Is it safe to drink out of a printed interior cup? Wouldn't some of the chemicals of the ink leach into the drink? Specifically, with warm drinks?!?! and or when someone uses a metal utensil in the cup?!?!

It's printed at the factory. Have tried a couple methods of doing imprints on the inside but with partial success to total failure. Specially made pads are how the factory does it, but they require several pallets worth for a specific design.

That actually comes that way from the factory. Don't have to pass any extra regulations that way; we have looked at doing the inside of mugs, but that was a discouragement for our customers in the past.

These come pre-printed from the factory. A blank mug would need to be coated with enough consistent heat and pressure (vacuum press required, with a specialty wrap). Doing so in the US could void the FDA certification that comes with the mug.

They come that way from the factory. We have looked at allowing customers to do it on their end, but it would require the customer get FDA certification.

It comes that way from the factory on a pad with an ink that has a higher sublimation temp than sublimation ink. We get them in for specific holidays. I've seen non-factory attempts at doing the inside but an issue is consistent pressure and heat on the inside. Possibly doable with a vacuum press and a custom silicone insert but very likely still inconsistent.

Thisbhad nothing to do with sublimation on the interior of the mugs. And to others watching, NEVER put super hot mugs and tumbers just off a press in cold water. This can cause unseen interior cracks/damage, that can cUse that item to suddenly fail while in use. This video is dangerous

Entirely unintentional. A lot of our videos are titled "Sublimation x" We tried to make sublimated designs on interiors but it's failed to get consistent coverage and the interior bottom joint is especially tricky. We don't release failure videos; we want viable guides for the products here. If you have any suggestions, would love to hear them!

Hi Christina, I'm Scott the editor. I had thoughts similar to this. We've changed the overall tone of the presentation in more recent videos and I will also be using AI noise filtering on older videos to tone them down and alleviate/remove that incessant beep on mug videos. Just limited by hardware right now.
