Just a tip because I’ve been using the Silhouette for awhile like I have the 2nd version of it, but anyways if you put your image in silhouette studio and trace it first and check your cut lines you won’t have to do that step when you go back into cut it because the cut lines will already be in there from where you traced it and it saves you that step.

Sublimation originally works great with light color polyester fabrics. The higher the polyester the better the print. This is just a way to get Sublimation to show on dark fabrics and cotton shirts

This might be a stupid question but why cut it at all? Like if you didn’t do it through silhouette it wouldn’t have the registration marks… and you could press the whole sheet since the white doesn’t have any ink on it?

that won't work with sublimation on Subli-mate/EasySubli. The sheet is the actual white part you're subbing.

Mark a piece of blank paper and print something. Make note of how you inserted It and if the mark was top or bottom. Use the same theory with this new sub fabric. I’d Ur printer prints on the top, then the sticky part should be faced down. And vice verse

Agreed. And quite frankly I would never try to sell this to anyone. IMO The quality is substandard. Not badmouthing Southpaw, he no doubt did everything according to directions. But I feel the end result looks muddy and is not sellable.

Actually that’s the 13x19 size and some other vendors sell those sizes for over $5 a sheet. Ithey have four different sizes and I love that. The 8..5 x 11 is only $40.50 and it includes shipping. I use them for my business and I love them. My sales are going up for repeat customers because my customers like that they are fabric and not vinyl. They really have great customer service because there was a problem with one of my orders from the mail and their customer service made me a customer for life. But that’s just been my experience. Did I mention how much money I save by not using easy subli and being able to offer bigger size prints. I think they are worth it.

It looks like a cool product but I use easy subli and I sublimate using a sub paper directly onto the easy subli and it turns out much better than printing directly on the fabric. I am pretty sure if you did the same the results would be a lot better.

You can, but I always try to get as close to 100% poly as possible. The colors on 50/50 are quite muted after wash.

You can also dry the ink under a heated platen much faster. Just don't close the heat press while drying.

First of all this is not sublimation. This is a iron on. You don't have to cut out sublimation images. Because sublimation is the ink that get pressed into the fabric. What this is very expensive iron on paper. This video was a joke. Sublimation does not need a cricket or a silhouette to be used. You printed on the paper you press it onto the shirt and the paper is throwing away. you cut the paper out and you press the paper on to the shirt that's a iron-on. And most iron-ons you can get from Michaels hobby lobby or Joann's fabric for less money then what this paper cost.

This IS actually different than iron-on craft stuff. The ink that went into the fabric WAS sublimation ink. Just because you're printing directly on the substrate instead of using a transfer paper does not mean that the ink isn't turning into a gas and then dying the fabric. Subli-mate will also work with a mirrored printed sublimation paper also, so it IS indeed sublimation.

I understand that this process is more or less for 1 piece orders, but man that looks awful. I use DTG for these kind of jobs. A screen printed imprint with an underbased cymk print would look killer and produce the best, brightest, most efficient prints if you had to do more than 5 or 6 of these..
