Angie, great video! There is another possible technique that is even cheaper than the pads. I use quilt batting in place of the nomax pad. I use 3-4 layers and then press in the same method as with the pads. I do put a protective sheet under the batting, just to ensure it doesn’t adhere to the mat I have on the bottom of the heat press.

What about cleaning the tiles? Do you use soap and water or what? Thank you for the tutorial. I may try sublimation someday.

You would just use soap and water. The design is permanent once applied.

A great video again, really enjoy your projects. But,a quickish question? I have just got a small flat heat press with a knob to adjust pressure similar to yours on your tile video, but smaller! How do you know what is Light, Medium or Heavy pressure??? Help!

The heat press I am using has a pressure readout so I used it because you can break the tiles. Otherwise, it is just by feel!

Look where you purchase your sublimation tile but most say they are food safe.

They came out great. What do you think about using the vevor auto heat press for this as you can't adjust the pressure. I do have one of them cricut heat pads I can put underneath . You think it'll work ??

I think it would work! They do NOT need heavy pressure!
