Sublime played a free show at the UCSD quad in fall '94... I only knew them as the "Date Rape" band and thought that song was pretty cheesy. I heard them passing by and his voice stopped me dead in my tracks and I listened to a few songs. But I had to leave to pull a double all-nighter in the compsci lab. One of the biggest regrets in my life was that I didn't stay the whole show. '97 was the year where I listened to almost nothing but subime, I had all the bootleg recordings, videos, etc.
