This is actually the first time ive ever listened to sublime with the new singer. First and foremost i gotta just say that there is nothing wrong with wanting to keep things going and doing whatever is necessary to continue moving forward. To be honest Rome is uniquely a good fit for Sublime, and while he doesnt remind me much of Bradley at all really i do see how passionate he is about Sublime and playing their songs. That seems like such a hard role to fill but i do think Bradley would approve, and i definitely respect the hell outta him for stepping up in the first place

Rome is awesome and sublime with rome is one of my favorite bands currently. That being said, Sublime was a totally different beast. Brad was a badass, the type of frontman you don't see anymore. A dude who could play guitar, snort a line and whoop ass. Sublime w/ rome makes you nod your head to the beat, Sublime changed your whole world. He was like Pac. Cut from a different cloth.

the only reason theyre using the name sublime is because there is money in it. the only original left is eric. i sure as heck would not wanna see a "Nirvana with James" or "Grateful Dead with Ron".. sublime with rome isnt even anywhere near the original sound. especially now that Bud left and its Josh on the drums. this band sounds good, for a garage band covering sublime songs. but thats it

Not knowing sublime before nor knowing anything about the former lead singer - now I know - I think this song is addictive because if the rougher voice and performing of Rome, passionate, desperate, soft, emotional, and I like the way he is completely into the rythm and every note of this song. For me its much more than seeing a fan giving tribute to his favorite singer, he is nailing it to perfection.

I don’t hate Rome, he’s good... when he joined he may have been one of the best options at the time....but he’s not even close to being the best possible person to lead Sublime at this point especially with Bradley’s son grown up and playing and singing himself now Sublime should at least play a few special recorded shows with Jacob to honor Bradley if nothing else... the fans would lose their shit to hear Bradley’s spirit shining through again in his boy.
