I met Eric Wilson in 2012 outside his bus on sidewalk in NYC after watching their Irving Plaza show. It was surreal meeting him, a big teddy bear. I told him i've been waiting 14 years to see him play. He replied... i've been waiting 14 years to play! We all had a chuckle. One of the greatest moments of my life. SUBLIME wil always be my favorite band.

for us, who got to grow up at that ripe music age of early teenage years, listen to Sublime, seeing them play, singing along with your friends at house parties and at the beach after surf session, having a guy like Rome is nothing but a treat. The first time I saw them live at Jones Beach years ago was one of my favorite shows. I went by my self, sat on the upper deck closed my eyes and was instantly brought back to a time when everything was right and there was not a care in the world. It was really one of my all time favorite concert experiences. So to you Rome, I thank you!

If I might be so bold. . . The way I see it is that he is not replacing Bradley. This is not Sublime, this is Sublime WITH ROME. This is a way for Bradley to live on , and for his memory to endure. I saw them live last year and all I could think of is how each song had its place in my life. I didn't focus on Rome , or any hostility because that isn't what sublime or Brad was about. It was about the music and the love for those sharing this experiment we call life. As far as the money, with them touring a portion of that money is in the account of Jakob James Nowell , his son. In the end , Brad achieved what he set out to do... take care of his family with his music. Now stop the hating and love one another.

I think the most important thing when a group of musicians tries to push forward after the loss of someone like Brad - more so than trying to replicate his sound - is to do in a manner that sounds good and pays respect and tribute to the original. There's many differences between Rome and Brad, but they're both talented in different ways and - most importantly - I think Rome does a respectful job paying homage to Brad's legacy without trying to lay credit to all he did. He acknowledges it, and does a great job paying homage. All you can hope for in a situation like Sublime was put in. Play on, brother Rome - and thanks, Brad.

There are a lot of haters, but I have seen interviews and Rome is not trying to be Brad he is a fan and wants to do Sublime justice. I appreciate that he is doing it and not someone who sounds nothing like Bradley. I loved sublime than and I love them now, but everyones right about one thing I fricken miss Brad. He was so damn talented and I love to watch old live concerts with him singing and Louie sitting there. R.I.P.

Not totally sure if Brad actually said this, but I always heard this quote that was supposedly by him... "Good music is good music, and that should be enough for anybody." That has stuck with me throughout the years, and it rings very true, especially to all the haters. Brad would love Rome.

I love Sublime and I love what Brad and those guys did and made....I genuinely feel that they made something unique and beautiful and lasting. I genuinely don't know whether to dislike 'Sublime with Rome' for sounding like a 'Sublime with Brad' rip-off or love them for being a tribute to what Brad created.
