Best overview of these new MFDs. Still not a fan of the scrolling on power MFD. Make the columns half the width and remove that giant [Output 3/20]. In place of that put in more power columns. You will then not need to scroll and can replace that stupid horizontal scroll bar with that [Output 3/20] info as a simple line of text across the bottom.

Use single pips does not merge different weapons, it only merges the same type. For example if you have a ship with 4 Panthers single pip merges all 4 weapons into one. If you turn that off, every weapon has its own pip, and depending on the distance you can see where they will hit. Best example for that is in a Freelancer when you get pretty close to something because the guns cannot shoot something directly infront of you.

I'm still getting the hang of the new MFDs and HUD, but they feel pretty nice to use and look at. I quite like the new power management screen which is so far the only screen I really tried to learn and use. This video is very helpful. 'v')_d

Do you mean the throttle itself? Or the throttle limiter, what it used to do before this patch? Because with the limiter you can kind of use the wheel as a throttle

Was fun watching you make this on stream. Adobe rears it's ugly head. The new weapon groups suck for mouse and keyboard, trying to make everything like FPS was a dumb choice.

SQ42 was "feature complete and in polishing phase" at the last citcon. Polishing means 3 years at CIG? Wow. Just wow.

I'm pretty sure it's 1.0 holding sq42 back from release. It's a no brainer that they would want both to launch at the same time for SC to maximise onbaording new players to the PU.

Not huge. And for non sweaty combat situations having it turn off when you boost is enough. We have plenty of boost now and everything has been slowed down. You can measure the difference by checking gforces.

The game is a complete unplayable mess right now. While we listen to all their BS at citizencon, I'm the one who's feeling a little conned. And now seeing that SQ42 is another 2 years out.....I'm really having a hard time justifying continuing to support this game. Because I don't believe a word CiG says.
