Seeds records on Crescendo label were in print until the mid-80s, so later pressings are common.

Nice to see "My People Were Fair And Had Sky In Their Hair... But Now They're Content To Wear Stars On Their Brows", great one. And you're not alone, Jonas, I'm not a big The Seeds fan either. I almost bought "Future" the other day, but sampled it in the store and put it back. Too garagey for me.

My people is great. Can’t believe I waited so long to get it. I have seen it in shops but it has always been priced way too high and I never stumbled upon it online. Cool that my friend had a copy that he dident want anymore. Agree. To garage in a bad way. I need something to hang on to in the garage was 😀. I feel like the records by them just floats by without leaving anything behind.

Hey Jonas, you may have already listened to it at some point but c/o the Seeds in mono. Imo (and Hoffman forums) the mono sounds much better than the stereo. Also what do you think about the Swedish post-punk album Synd by Imperiet? When I was in Stockholm I asked a shop owner if I needed one Swedish rock album to take home what should it be, and that's what they recommended.

Maybe mono would lift the music but I don’t know if that would be enough when the songs do t grab. I’ll revisit them again down the road and see if I get it or else they go to a collector that appreciates them. Imperiet is great. Very melodic. He did good recommending g it. I don’t have any on Lp. Only on cd. Imperiet is one of the bands that I grew up with so I know them by heart. Never play. It’s like I’m done with them. Stored back in my music archive. 😀

Great video with lots of good info, always on the lookout for some great obscure heavy psyche rock. The problem I have with a lot of these great bands/albums is the vocals- the vocals often ruin the fantastic music for me. Zipper is a prime example- the vocals and lyrics make me cringe, adolescent nonsense at best lol. 'Pull my trigger, shoot my gun, bullets for you baby on the end of your tongue'...ughhhh...I'd buy a copy with vocal track removed in a heartbeat!
