Subnautica Base Tour: Alterra Lab Hidden Inside a Gargatuan Skull in the Lost River

A laboratory built by Alterra, in one of the most hostile places on the planet, to study the remains of the long extinct fauna scattered in the Lost River. The skull of a giant Gargantuan Leviathan serves as protection as well as a prime location to sample the remains of the beast, and perhaps harvest DNA.

I really like how much this base puts the size of the skull into perspective. Normally when you're swimming around, or piloting a seamoth/cyclops/Prawn Suit, you don't quite see the scale, but when you're inside the base you can really feel how big it is. Like at 2:49 when you see it towering over the base.
