The way the ending works: The rocket doesnt launch, you can only see the sky, you dont move, the debris and planets do, which pop into the map at required times. the sky also turns into space.

Idk, i found it to be the scariest thing in the entire fame. Forget giant leviathans, or even drowning. Having escaped all that just to be loaded with more debt than you could possibly pay off is so terrifying especially because it's something that could very well happen to me. Like what if one day i get cancer or something and all the work that goes into saving me gets saddled on my as debt I won't ever be able to pay off.

It wasn't a glitch actually... The developers actually intended to do this because you only can see the sky...not outside Neptune...if you put some code in that will make you No Clip thrpugh everything...You'll see what I mean.

I did the same with the Cyclops but on my case the main hatch was still open while I was far, when I entered it it glitched out and launched itself upwards like a rocket, when I exit it I was free falling and the Cyclops floated in the air and when I got near it fell in the water and returned to normal.

Real ending:waking up in Aurora realizing it was a dream, but the Sea Empress still talks to you. You warn them about QEP and you save everyone, you saved Aurora, 157 people, yourself and sunbeam.You become the new captain. Then the main theme starts. You discover you were never cured, you become the alien. You grab a gun, sandy hook(sandy hook school shooting) . You crash Aurora, you make sunbeam come and you destroyed it. You become the biggiest Leviathan.Later another ship crashes, the same happens.Your clone does the same thing. You realize everything is a loop. (credits) The end? After credits(it is rare) you get to Below Zero as a Leviathan, but after u come to Below Zero you become a female human.

I'm late, but for anyone confused as to why the rocket is going no where, it's a simple trick to save on computing power and over all work load. As you're never meant to see such an angle, it wouldn't make sense programming wise for them to make an actual launch animation, and a real 3D model of the planet.
