@@uvanraja3356 yeah that’s usual and basic to cut at the stroke of the beat for someone who’s studied film editing, or has gone to a workshop, but to an untrained eye that’s new. Not everyone knows everything and that includes you and me.also our consciousness fills in the details during a cut in a movie, so often we don’t notice it while in the process of watching a movie, so the untrained eye doesn’t consciously perceive the cut unless you’re specifically looking for the cuts.

Yes, it was a deliberate decision to edit it that way. The whole is shot and edited beautifully and the film is one of the best films in the late 2000s. And yes this was also one of the films that inspired Anurag Kashyap to make Gangs of Wasseypur. You guys should check it out if you can.

This song was a chartbuster not only in Tamil Nadu, but the whole of South India. This movie Subramaniapuram is a good one, has everything - friendship, love, betrayal, multi-level revenge, enmity, politics, violence (a little too much), comedy all intertwined, plus 80's setting triggering nostalgia. This is a must watch film... The actor who plays the friend (the guy who was gonna throw the brick on the girl). Sasikumar...He is the director of this film and this is his debut. And yes, Anurag Kashyap was truly inspired by this film and made Gangs... This movie was also shot in a Film Camera because of the period it is set in...It's set in the 80's in Madurai, Tamilnadu. You can know how unique the people's lifestyle was in that era in India. Great story...It clearly shows the ugly truth of Hatred and discrimination within the people and what it does to others.
