It is a double edged sword. Law of attraction doesn't work in that way. Although hiding atleast 60% of your assets is very necessary but you should live a life of better. Showing yourself poor does attract poverty and even though you have billion dollar assets, eventually you will lose the capacity to keep it to yourself in a gradually manner

Kabir has said this centuries ago. Hera payo gaath gathiyayo. If you found a diamond, just put it in your bag and move on. No need to show it to others

Excellent words of wisdom again sir. Biggest issue of showing off wealth is you will attract unnecessary attention of the wring type, close people will ask you for loans

There are only two types of millionaires - #1. That lived a fulfilling life by spending the money for their good living and don’t have too much of bank balance. #2. That lived a very poor life by saving every Penny, did not enjoy a good life, did not have good life experiences did not travel , didn’t spend for their hobbies, didn’t do little bit charity , didn’t take time to take rest, didn’t take timto enjoy with their family and then finally end up having millions of dollars in their bank account, that will only be used by people who don’t even know the pain they went through to earn them. Which type of person you want to be? You decide. The first one was intelligent to use the wealth he earned in his life time itself to live a fulfilling life. The second one did not use the wealth he earned and saved a lot ending up with massive returns that was never came of any use to him.

As per Hindu karma, you only take your character, learnings, wisdom, intellect with you when you die. Not the wealth. That’s why one must read until death, build character until death. It’s to uplift your soul.

@@ExcitedCrayons-ez7jv that's a non-answer. I mentioned 5 cr so that i can get a genuine answer from a certain demographic that actually has the experience- you don't seem to fit.

Its all depends on what kind of a person your wife is. I made a decent chunk of wealth for my back ground and without my wifes unrelenting support, that couldn't have been possible. Tell me should she know what is our wealth details?.

Be like Warren buffet in finance and life. Do great charity like Ratanji even if rich.Only the good deeds of philanthropy will save one after death as punya. No one can ever take his or her own physical body elsewhere in the event of death.Hence material wealth will not follow you when the physical body perishes, rather the quality of the soul or purity of mind.Hence despite being rich, lead a pure devoted life by serving the poor or disabled or sick , instead of acting poor.
