Yeah you really have to think through what Wu you're using compared to your opponent in a showdown. The Reversing Mirror simply has no benefit when being paired against the Falcon's Eye and little compared to the Gills of Hamachi, whereas the Thorn of Thunderbolt alone vs the Falcon's Eye is a good match because Raimundo has nothing to counter it.

Not really. The reversing mirror is a very strong shen gon wu, so it would've make sense for him to wager it so he can use it. Not to mention rai manage to kicked it off of him. If it wasn't for the fact that he lost the mirror during that scramble, he would've won.

My guess is after the heroes win it would be a bit foolish to atk them after acquiring more Shen Gong Wu. After the heroes lost they would have what they wanted and rather than risk losing what they just won, they would take off since the heroes wouldn't do anything.
