I'll tend to go through and watch the channels I'm subscribed to before others when both work and our typical BT connection allows. I got into youtube because of a lot of the press around Brexit and how we would be swimming in chlorinated chicken, beef pumped full of hormones and antibiotics and GMO franken foods which made me more curious about farming in places like the USA so when looking for ideas on how do a job, videos of a demo drill and fixing a tractor it came up with How Farms Work video under what I was watching I watched that. That then got me into The Rest Of The Story, then Onelonelyfarmer, Big Tractor Power, WT Farm Girl, Cotontop3. Travis got me into Northernfarmer, BTP got me into Mike Less's channel, Wes then got me into Harmlessfarmer, MnMillenialFarmer and Lord Muck which led to your channel, Zach then led me to Welker Farms, Rice Farming TV and Know Idea Media the latter introducing me to Myles Power and my favourite video well series of videos "Atrazine Turning The Freakin' Frogs Gay!?" There are other channels I watch but it tends to be on a video basis as the channels I am subscribed to keep me entertained plenty. As for your channel I love it may not have the absolutely massive equipment of BTP and not vastly different to things we do but I love your discussion of the tractors you are driving and the equipment as it gives me ideas for how to do some of our work better, interesting as the equipment is bigger than we would use here but I find it interesting and I enjoy your walk around of the shows as half the time they are on when we ourselves are busy but I have wanted to see them. Your videos actually helped me when we demoed a new tractor though that may change if it gives us grief 😉 you do a top job👍

I love farming trucks cars boats and so on harvesting but my best is based on fire and rescue as I am volunteer firefighter we use to spent time in Delmas back in the 1990 from 98 we went to the East Coast became a volunteer in the 2000 and now still after 17 years in service I still love it to this day but I like yours as well many of the videos are very cool mostly any farm stuff is nice to see what the farmer is up to but yes most of the videos is like my own research as volunteer fire calls response vids most of the time from Johan

Howdy George, I like looking at different methods of farming, and also different types of farming such as livestock, as where I live in Suffolk it's mostly arable. And I like looking at how other farms work. Cheers Henri

First vid that got me into youtube was called Harvest Glenvar 2007 of a big farm in Australia, since then ive got into regulars like yourself; millennial farmer, northern farmer, onelonelyfarmer, welkerfarms and blamesh, plus some European vids. . I often find new stuff from searching for a machine im interested in buying and you get great demos of them. Mostly I like the fact you can watch farmers from across the world and see the differences and similarities of their operations. Uk videos are interesting too as you can compare notes in a way. I find it relaxing even if ive been doing the same job myself all day!

i mostly watch on my notebook during kitchenwork incl eating. the subscription feed is bookmarked to my browser's bookmarks bar. i scroll down to the first vid i haven't seen then i Ctrl-click (which opens them in a new tab behind the current) all the vids of my favourite channels and the ones that catch my eyes. then i work myself through the opened tabs which i can pause and resume at any time. however on most days i have more vids in my subs feed than i have available watch time. so there's always some competition going on. i stick to a bunch of alltime favorite channels (one of them is your's) of which i rarely miss a vid. however i also add new channels constantly that seem to be interesting to me (e.g. yt suggested ones or if a youtuber referenced another [new] youtuber) and also ditch subscribed channels that haven't made it in my daily tab opening routine for a longer period of time. yt often lists me some great suggestions that fit my interests well. and a certain part of the channels behind will eventually make it into my subs feed. i remember Wes saying in one of his vids not too long ago that his channel is one of the largest ag channels out there and that it'll be almost impossible for newcomers to catch up. he couldn't be more wrong on this ... Zach pumped out a bunch of great humorous vids and gained traction rapidly especially when the challenger entered the stage. same for the Welkers with their harvest livestreams and restoration projects. And even smaller channels like Brian's Farming Videos grew quite a subscriber base in little to no time (thanks to the challenger 1000 series and feeding George). so in my opinion there's still a chance for everbody on youtube. however you have to deliver quite some quality nowadays because people are used to it. the bar was lower in the early days of youtube.

Would it be quicker George with a wider Deep Cultivator? Just wondering is there any rules that help farmers set the size or wideness of the attachments used per field? Even in the UK we seem to be using far bigger machines and attachments now in farming? Even though our old roads are still just as small and twisty. : ) And my favorite video must be the 1971 Morecambe and Wise Piano sketch with Andre Previn. I don't really bother with the recommended lists on youtube! I stick to my subscriptions and normal subject searches.

If you're subscribed to hundreds of channels there's no way that KZbin can show them all on your daily feed if they all published a video that day. It's best to get it drummed into viewers heads to click the bell icon so they get an email notification when you post a video. It can be a bit annoying though when you're subscribed to hundreds of channels as that means you're going to get loads of emails each day if all those channels uploaded a video. I'm subbed to hundreds of channels but I only have the bell clicked for about 30 of those channels, yours included.
