i saw this stylized materials for long time and they are pretty awesome. and these guys are pretty amazing. BUT WARNING!! if you are planning to put it in the game engine like unity or unreal tessellation will cost soo much of your performance.
@1989johno5 жыл бұрын
You don't need to use tessellation with this material, you could just use the material Nd allow the normal to look like its raised or even use a bump offset using the height map which isn't too costly

Hi! I was wondering if you could tell me which nodes come after 1:03. The ones connecting to blend is hidden, sorry I'm new to designer and I'm trying to follow your video. :D
@Kalyson4 жыл бұрын
hi, it's just a flood fill node conneting in three flood fill grayscale with random angle.
@junellebalanon29904 жыл бұрын
@@Kalyson Wow thanks for replying so quick! I appreciate the response time. I'm gonna try and see if I can figure that out haha. Thanks a lot! :D

@@Kalyson Sorry for being a bother. I'm not sure if I explained that correctly. I was able to follow the steps up until the 1 minute mark. You connected a blend mode with another blend mode but I don't know what those nodes are. At 1:06 it looks like a normal map.

@@junellebalanon2990 Hello, I don't know if you still need this but it seems like a blend node connected to a normal node into the normal that controls the 3D viewport(you get them if when you open a file you select PBR (Metallic/Roughness)). The blend is also connected to a hbao node into the ambient occlusion one and then the blend also straight into the height node. That's what worked for me:) Sorry if I'm not using the right terminology I'm very new to designer.
