being able to assign earned EVs as you level up would be even more useful (especially for an in-game team being repurposed for online play), rather than the current system of: Play through game gaining random EVs -> Reset using berries -> Re train for the actual EVs you wanted.

I would actually make 3 other Pokemon trainer classes The Potionmaker hands you a potion (Depending on the area you are in can also be a Super or Max potion) after battling The Herbalist gives you berries after battle The crafter givies you Pokeballs after battle, but the Pokeball depends on the area or if you are early or late game (So for example, if you are on a beach, the ball can be a just a normal Pokeball, but if you are lucky also a Net or Dive ball).

The courier is really funny. I could imagine them fitting into the world of Pokemon where it seems like everything just revolves around the player character (for example, the Reporter NPC class from Gen 3).

My ideas. The Bishop: uses religeous pokemons like Golurk. Claydol. And Bisharp because its a Bishop. The Goth or Emo: uses ghost, psychic, and dark. Like gengar, Gothetel, Grimsnarl, and duskskul. And an idea. The Veteren classe would be an evil team grunt that retired.

I got this idea for a pokemon trainer. He is called Captain P. He is a Superman wannabe. Has the basic powers of a Superman like hero. He claims that his weaknesses is Pokemon attacks. The Pokemon he usually battles with is grass and fairy types, and sometimes Pokemon that resembles farm animals.

the idea of a trainer disguising as the region's professor is genius, imagine the buzz you'd get out of seeing them just in the middle of a route - bit of a one time trick though I suppose you could follow it up by having a gym leader leave there gym a la Clair to Dragon's Den, then you see them, but uh-oh its copycat again

I think if youre gonna do quizkids, you should include a few features, if you guess correctly you get rewarded in a way more beneficial than a fight, and the faster you answer the higher quality/quantity of a reward, and theres a timer where if you cant answer in time is equal to getting an incorrect answer and have to fight.

I think a better idea for the quiz kid is to have the questions asked during battle. Perhaps every two turns they ask a random pokemon related question get it right and your rewarded with your current battling pokemon getting a stat boost in there highest stat or getting a free heal. Get it wrong and the game punishes you by skipping your turn or giving your pokemon a random negative status condition.

That’s a great idea! I made the original suggestion simple for programming’s sake, in case someone wants to actually implement it in a hack, but your idea would make it much more unique

I always thought having a lifeguard as a trainer class would be kinda cool. A bit of a missed opportunity not having a lifeguard trainer class in the Alola region because you often see them stationed around places where people swim such as beaches for example. At least we got surfers. (In Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon)

Spritework generally really good but don't understand the Nuzlocker's face - is that a grimace? are nose and eyes hidden? Virtual Boy is a great name

I can see how the face can be confusing. The black parts under the headband are supposed to be the bangs covering the eyes. Under those, the far left black dot is the nose while the right skin colored line is the mouth. I'll fix it so that the eyes are more visible in the next draft. thanks for the feedback!

Here are some more ideas for plausible Pokemon trainers (a bit weird). 1: The Mermaid - Believe to be transferred by a pokemon god. 2: Anthro Trainers - Normal animals with human like intelligence. 3: Alien Trainers - Aliens from other planets come to do Pokemon battles. Most of them uses bug Pokemon. 4: Rainbow Rocket Refuge - Escaped from worlds ravaged by Rainbow Rocket, most hope to get strong enough to fight Rainbow Rocket. 5: Avatars- Legendary Pokemon that is using a body of a human like being. They have one Pokemon... their true form.

I have ideas for plausible Pokemon trainers. 1: Payday Masters - They are almost like bankers in the Pokemon world. They battle with Pokemon that use payday. 2: Manure Specialist - These guys specialize in cleaning up Pokemon pens and sandboxes. 3: Virtual Pet Fanatic - Best described as having the Digimon kids in Pokemon without having them in Pokemon. These kids are obsessed with their virtual pets, but do take Pokemon battles seriously. They mostly battle with Porygon. They claim that they are building up their virtual pets to fight a computer monster. 4: Pregnant Women - Not even maternity leave can keep these girls from a pokemon battle. They will sometimes ask you to make a special pokeberry potion to help her baby grow. 5: Husband Hunters - Girls looking for a strong Pokemon Trainer to be their husbands. After you battle them they will ask you to let them accompany you for a certain time. After that is completed they will give you a handkerchief as a promise she will return to you after she builds nest. If you play a girl she will just run away claiming some boy broke her bike. 6: Cyborgs - People who ...lost a few body parts during their Pokemon journey. If you defeat them robotic body parts will be added to your customization. 7: Smoker- Someone who smokes cigarettes. 8: The Drunken Trainer- Unpredictable, yet has enough brain function to do a full Pokemon battle. 9: Ditto Gauntlet - Someone who has a special gauntlet that turns himself into a pokemon.

I was going to suggest having the mom as the Pokemon trainer. But I don't think that would happen. 1: It's sort of some code of honor. After all she is you primary sponcer. 2: I believe that most moms in the Pokemon world had Pokemon but the efforts of raising a child (they either died of old age, realased, or sold). 3: I believe that most women are more comfortable with borrowing Pokemon from the men of the family, whether from husband or from son. I believe that useing your significant other's pokemon is almost like a love language, like opening the door for her.
