I've only updated non-code related stuff since my last Faded Memory update, so it's just sprites and story. It's definitely something I want to do soon though :)

Absolutely loved seeing the sprite reworks, even cases I previusly had little issues with! Well done with Kingdra! I have tried to improve on Tyranitar's sprite myself and know it's not an easy task. I think the back spikes in your version still looks a bit messy, and I think the head also needs more work to look good. In addition to the issues you mention, I find the his right foot to look very strange with that one MASSIVE claw.

Having grown up with Gen 2 and played it many times over, I went in expecting to hate most of the redesigns I saw here. I've especially always been fond of Gen 2's portrayal of Feraligatr. After watching, however, I come away shocked at how expertly these were handled. Changing only what was necessary, I think you genuinely improved upon what was already there, only reinventing the wheel when it seemed absolutely necessary. You made Meganium look pickable; that in and of itself is an amazing achievement. Well done and congrats on out Gen 2-ing Gen 2!

That was an Awesome Video, I've been the kind of the sort of person who's been very "Eagle Eyes" and "Critique-y" on Pokémon 2D Sprites in General (of all Gens: + on the 3D Models as well from the Recent Era of Pokémon): for Example, I think Gen 3 Salamence Sprite is Hideous, which is Sad cause it's my All-time Favourite Gen 3 Pokémon (Alongside Metagross -- It took them until Anime, Genius Sonority 3D Models, Gen 5 Sprites and to a degree the Current 3D Models to get my Dragon Boi right.. Imo), I think a majority of the Pokémon Sprites from the Original DP are kinda Bland looking, until Most of PT gave them more Oof and Personality (Imo), same to HGSS giving most of the Best Sprites of both Gen 1 and 2 Mons (HGSS Feraligatr Sprite is one of the Best Looking Feraligatrs I've ever seen, no Joke)... Overall It was delightful to watch, especially from those Gen 2 Sprite Revamps were very Needed (same with the Gen 1 Sprites, I understand BTS why most of the Mons looked the way they looked, but still I wish to give out my thoughts and critiques on them lol), as a Fan of Feraligatr (one of my All-Time Fave Gen 2 Mons), that was an Amazing Sprite Revamp, same with Tyranitar (my 2nd Fave Gen 2 Mon), really great from Beginning to End, If there's gonna be more of These kinds of Vids, I'll be Looking Forward to Them ^v^

My expertise ends with Gen 2 sprites, but there is definitely still a lot of non-revamp sprite content I have in the works (I.e. originals, making new mons from funny Gen 1 sprites, etc)

Feraligatr and Tyranitar still look off... I think their toes and feet just look broken, but idk I don't like your Tyranitar much at all and he's one of my favorite Pokemon haha. Smoochum's mouth is still weird looking... Golduck's bill is way too sharp and small... the rest of your changes look awesome, I esp like the Kingdra! I've never liked Bayleef or Meganium's design because of Bayleef's cigars and Meganium's bug antenna, and yeah I know it's suppose to be anthers but losing the huge head-leaf just kills the design imo. Hmm... I think Yellow did better designs/poses for a lot of the Kanto sprites, just not executed as cleanly. Like Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam look so bright and thin in Yellow... Ghastly, Haunter, and Gengar look badass in Yellow though I would color Gengar's eyes red? (Does Gengar even use 2 colors in Yellow?) Kangaskhan, Horsea, Seadra, Chansey look better in Yellow... Ninetales looks the most regal in Yellow, other than her nose is very pointy. I think by not using so much black to outline everything Yellow makes them all feel more friendly and painterly.

Is it me or is it when i look at gen 2 Tyranitar, I see a derpy smug smile instead of a serious one because the eyes are so close to the mouth, it looks like the eye are the actual mouth?

Most are pretty, which is why I specialize in spriting them. It’s just these ones in particular don’t line up in quality (imo)

Hey Substitute, I've recently gotten into gen 2 sprinting, But I've had trouble finding a reliable sourse for the colours Gameboy Colour Pallette. The one available on Aseprite doesn't match the colours when I colour pick all the colours from the sprites. Do you happen to have a pist of colours that exist I could use?

I don't have one. What I normally do is pick a color I want, adjust the individual RGB values so they're each divisible by 8 (hence 8-bit), and then start coloring. Like if I picked a color with R- 238 G- 60 B- 100 it'd be rounded to R- 240 G- 64 B- 104
