Tombox, I thought the list I sent you had Cave Clash? That card is super good for longevity - recycling your Fiendesses AND Final Battle (if it gets destroyed)! It's actually the third card I search (Final Battle > Fiendess > Cave Clash > Fiendess > Archer > Fiendess). Not to mention it makes Guru a quick effect on your opponent's turn without having to rely on chaining to Final Battle! - Georgiy

What about Super Poly in this deck ? You can also put Colossus, Megafleet and some other meta relevant monsters in the extra deck. My version has Cave Clash for recycling Fiendess, sometimes you burn them pretty fast

3 lines of decision: Instant Fusion + Brilliant Just Instant Fusion Just 1 Brilliant Saryuja or Borreload.. or both and cut something else. Dolkka or no dolkka. Thousand eyes. Just counting thoughts. Brilliant is still just so damn good, but the meta shift is what I am trying to account for. How many thunder dragons do I eat per turn and how many outs vs.. exta deck space too tight, so I need to find use the most effective monster line up.

A friend of mine said that if you have a face-up Guru and Final battle set: on your opponent's turn, if they summon a monster you can activate Final battle, chain Guru (Guru chain-link 1, Final battle chain-link 2: prevent activated Subterror effects from being negated) then flip their monster face down. Might be worth something

The best thing about this deck is that the field spell gets the search even if you play it over itself, so it's never dead in the hand, and you can max out on it (five copies with Terraforming)

@@Harmonic14 Definitely not but multiple field spells are an anchor in most decks. At least in this deck it's salvageable, and Subterror is generally the kind of deck you get multiple turns out of anyway with its negations and battle protection.

Billie Hardrock I would want to play atleast 2 Nemesis Warrior so u can get one in ur opponents turn and ur turn consistently. Or just 1 cause 2 might be too much but one so u can retrieve Behemoths from deck and Rank 4 synergy.

Can i use guru to set botha nd then flip guru back up with out a effect like hidden city or fibal battle? Another ruling if i summon fiendess and set guru to ss my archer from the grave, can i summon guru with out an effect like hidden city or final battle? Please let me know, thanks.

You can flip Guru in both cases as long as you haven't used those S/T effects previously in the turn, assuming you only have 1 Final Battle

The play style of those 2 decks are quite different.. you'd be relying on. Shekinaga a lot and subterroes don't have much synergy in the grave most of the time. I guess u can play shaddoll Fusion, dump guru + hedghog, get shek, summon fiendess, use her effect, summon guru back?

I have played some match and I have surmised that: 1) winda is amazing for the subterror strategy, prevent facing too much monsters! 2) playing veiler you can also have access to construct! 😎 3) there is a subterror big monster called phrosperoglacier, who has a flip effect compared to a foolish burial. Using this guy you can send to grave all the shadoll monsters. (Dragon to pop back row is amazing!!) Yeah! You should try.. obviously you cannot play the new pot, and it means that grow up the lack of consistency.. but it is funnier than the other to play I guess!

2 Umastryx, 1 Phospheroglacier, maybe 1 Voltelluric if you have Colossus, maybe 1 Speleogeist, maybe 1 Ultramafus. Stalagmo's draw effect is too slow and takes up your starter to get it on board, so drawing 2 doesn't do you much there. The rest of the Behemoths aren't worth it. Definitely main deck 3 There Can Be Only One if you decide to play pure.

You def need 3 final battle. Summon limit is fun but there can only be one works better. You need to run 3 called by the grave, every deck is running 3 Ash and 2 something, be it veiler or ogre. These hand traps will screw you.

Sometimes, I just realized I can just eat it with subteror. More times than not. I eat it and then floodgate, I care more about the tempo when it comes to this deck and less reliant on disruptive play.

I don’t really think three final battle is necessary since it’s highly searchable. Most people would probably ash the hidden city so you should be free most of the time if the search resolves. I agree that ogre hurts like a mofo early game though before you get set up

I don't bother matching sleeves when making deck profiles videos, I pull cards from all my other decks would prefer to not risk damaging them through resleeving. I would sleeve my cards based on what they do as a teaching tool but again too lazy for that. The sleeves are irrelevant for deck profile video, unless they are a live duel.

It's called Guru control for a reason, you just stun your opponent using Fiendess and floodgates and handtraps, and your Guru becomes a "Boss monster" when you flip Final Battle making it 3400 ATK.

Preston Rohner you must not keep up with ocg meta haha. Guru control is a strong rogue contender because of how strong guru is. The pure version playing warrior and behemoth is more casual.
