I think you did a good job stopping when you did. Keeping the composition subtle and fresh. The painting feels airy just like a cool fresh hour on the California coast...

Zooming in on those distant rocks was such a good reminder to crop an inspiring scene as needed, instead of trying to capture the entire landscape. Thank you, Michael.

Good morning Michael. I always find it surprising how much different things look indoors. Love the sky and how little you did with it after covering the old image. Beautiful subtle shifts.

Another beautiful painting, Michael. One of my favorites about your work is how you magically find color when often I just see a gray scene. Keep inspiring!

Beautiful….you don’t need to lighten the rocks; it perfectly captures the feeling of the beach at that time of day. Lovely sky; made me vividly remember the first time I came to CA.

Hello Mr Michael Chamberlain, first of all greetings to you and awesome channel. Secondly, I watched the podcast and I'd love to see more of you talking about the kind of life you decided to choose, the philosophy of not chasing fancy lifestyle and creative fulfillment instead. Hopefully you'll be the guest anytime soon again or you would like to share your perspective because seems like social media suggests only one way of living and there's no other option. I don't know if my comment makes sense but I have pure interest and I'm glad you participated in the podcast. Also I remember all the old times, dad& daughter vlogs, hyperactive Emma dance moments, you both traveling and her surprising you on your birthday. Didn't no about one dollar left tho😆. Thank you, Mr Chamberlain! Was nice to hear from you.

@@chamberlainpaintings - Yes , and, a beautiful painting Michael. Truly this painting shimmers. The Horizon of ambered emerald , cleft deep amoung the rocks, mirrors sky hued motion, the foreground accelerates the vibration held in fuschia. ‘’ A plural movement of light “‘ . This affect is specific enhancing the subtle imagery as it “‘ looks back ‘’ at the viewer. A masterpiece for auction , beautiful painting Michael.
