I’m an outdoor enthusiast as well as a 98 Suburban owner. Love your channel and I am also a photography and graphic arts teacher . I will be sharing your videos with my students as many of them do not know what camping or the great outdoors are like. I have learned a great deal from you and thanks for your knowledge your soothing voice and your sincerity! Shoutout from Monterey Park , CA Ponce Family

Wow! Thank you so much! Even if we get just one student to love and protect the great outdoor, all the time and effort of producing the videos will be worth it. Thanks for being a teacher!

Another great video👏🏼👍🏼 got a tip for your cooler. I line my cooler with reflectix and believe me that seriously makes difference❄️❄️🥶Line all the interior walls including the bottom and the underside of the lid. I also freeze plastic juice containers or whatever of water, even Gatorade bottles that I find fit perfectly in the bottom of the cooler. I’ll keep them wrapped in a plastic bag to keep any condensation off of everything. I have a plastic shoebox that fits perfectly inside the cooler, and I place it on top of those frozen ice containers. Then I put all the food that needs to stay the coldest in there and put the lid on the shoebox. Then I have another shoebox and put the next layer of food that doesn’t need to be kept frozen or quite as cold. This works incredibly well keeps everything cold for days even in the summer, and prevents food getting all over the cooler or leaking

Sure thing Brent. Here you go: www.llbean.com/llb/shop/73882?page=personal-organizer-toiletry-bag-medium. Had mine for 15+ years and bought one for everyone in my family. You can get them embroidered with your initials.

How often do you use your 4x4?
@SuburbanCamping3 жыл бұрын
It is a very small percentage of the miles I drive, but I would say I engage 4x4 High at least once on every other trip. I did not use it on th the trip that was the subject of this video, but I just got back from another trip and ran into a lot more snow than I expected, so I used it several times, and covered many miles with the "Auto 4WD" on.
