In the ancient days of Subway. A Spicy Italian with Meatballs and provolone was called a Mad Italian. It was warmed in the microwave back then because Subway's didn't have toaster ovens yet. I like this Subway because they have the older toaster oven, which toasts better. I see people complaining not enough sauce, but what looks like a little going in, is a river coming out.

I'd toast the bread, add the sauce, add the cheese, and then add the pepperoni. But that might be too much work on a lunch or dinner rush. They did what they could for efficiency.

In Brazil, they only top half of the bun, with half of the ingredients. Maybe that is why lots of Subway stores are shutting down. Plus, we don't get as many options of cold cuts in here 😢

Oh no worries I'm not upset thats just my preference as a customer haha. I've also worked over a decade in retail so trust me I get both sides haha. My subway the guy knew me since I was a regular haha 😄 he knew what I wanted but he'd also just put the sauce in the fridge for the next day morning hours. Usually most customers don't go in 5 minutes before closing from my experience working in food now retail stores different story lol. When I worked at target people would come in 10 mins before closing...no joke haha

My favorite thing to order at subway was the Flatizza while they had it. After they took it off the menu my new go to order was a spicy Italian on a flatbread with added marinanara sauce. Something about that Flatizza changed me.

Was a manager at a subway for a few years. My go to was a pizza sub but put green peppers, onions, black olives, a couple meatballs, oregano and sauce into a salad bowl and chop it up before putting that on the pepperoni with mozzarella on top of that. Then add jalapenos on top of the cheese and toast it on the footlong steak setting twice. I dont work there anymore and i doubt they would go to all that trouble to make it.
