Dude, all that falling snow in the clips is so fu*kin sick. One of the raddest sessions you've filmed! As a Fl native, anyone can drop a few dollars on a longboard and surf in nice weather, but surfing in these conditions is a true testament to the love of the sport. I hope I have the chance to shred a spot like this some day.

Ben!!! Welcome to Nova Scotia!!!...and you picked just about the gnarliest time of year to be here.! You're in good hands with Logan though...he knows the breaks around here. Never thought you'd come up here bro! What was the motivation?...and this time of year??? Anyhow, have a great time while you're here. Would've been nice to meet you after all these years but I don't want to get in the way of your production and fun. Just cool to know that you're just around the corner from me. I hope you come back sometime in the future during the season that I surf in like May - November. I don't have the gear to get out in the winter and I'm not good enough to surf the breaks where you were. Sorry to hear about Rob and his friend's woes with flying and I hope the waves perk up for them when they finally get out. Stoked that you're here bro. Take care, John 🤙✌

Hey Ben, if you want to come back in the summer, I'd like to invite you to attend a local fun surf comp. Reply if you're interested. No worries if you're too busy but the invite stands just the same. Fan since May 20th, 2017. You're the #1 reason I'm surfing these days! Cheers, John

Definitely does. I don’t think I could do it myself or want to do it. I can’t stand putting and wearing a wetsuit especially a full suit with gloves boots and head gear. I will wear a spring suit with long sleeves at most. Normally just a rash guard for my stomach and sun.
@markdinkel-uh2je8 сағат бұрын
@EMan-cu5zo I tried getting in a pool in February 98 in Gulf Shores Alabama with a 5 mil full body wetsuit. Still couldn't handle it. But it's bearable once you build up the body heat. Even out in the middle of the pacific in Hawaii gets chilly after awhile. Same as Bahamas in May
@markdinkel-uh2je8 сағат бұрын
@@EMan-cu5zo hopefully the boots have some grip because surfboard wax has got to be hard in that condition.
@EMan-cu5zo7 сағат бұрын
@@markdinkel-uh2je I lived right outside New York on long island for about 9 months mostly during the summer. Waves were surprisingly good so I had to buy a full suit. You can’t really wear a bathing suit with them so I was butt naked but trying to cover myself with a towel on the side of the road. So hard to get on and off especially if still wet. I was worried I would get an indecent exposure charge. Paddling with it was a big difference and was a pain in the butt. Of course this was back in 2007 and I hope they have better more flexible materials. That was the main reason I couldn’t stand it. It kept me warm though because the water was cold and somedays the air temp was in the low 50s during part of my time there. Still have it hanging I’m my closest.
