The boy/girl hitting rule is a little more blurred between siblings. Plus, Shiv can easily kick Roman’s little ass 😂

This ended up in my recommended, so I watched the 1st video...subscribed right after! Hope you guys continue to do this series; it's an all-time favorite of mine.

You guys are great. I've watched Succession many times, it's right up there with the Sopranos.

LOL one of the things you'll soon learn about Succession is that the siblings love each other but they definitely don't like each other a lot of times. When I first watched this I was also confused and frustrated by Shiv, Roman, and Connor's reluctance to just name Kendall but this episode gave insight into the siblings relationship.

I found you guys while looking for Sopranos reactions because there ain't that many reactions to it. You are now genuinely one of my favourite reaction channels. Yall real asf and it feels like watching a show with my homies. Love yall

While Shiv is physically bigger than Roman, she's the youngest sibling. It goes Connor, Kendall, Roman, Shiv.

@@terrycullen3302 when was this confirmed? I thought it was left open who was older between Shiv and Roman

@@ellerysmusic her nickname is “pinky“ because she’s the fourth child.

@@ellerysmusic There was also a family tree released by HBO when season 1 aired that listed Shiv as the youngest child. Jesse Armstrong said himself that when he wrote the show he thinks of Shiv as the youngest due to the actors ages (Sarah is 36, Kieran is 42 and this show came out in 2018 when they'd all be close to the ages of their characters) but the other writers apparently argued that they considered Roman the youngest and Jesse supposedly didn't dispute that. Jesse is the showrunner though so I ultimately stand with him.

don't forget to watch the after-recap. Jesse Armstrong explains a lot of things that might over over the audience's heads.

The reason we don't watch after recaps is so we have our own perception of what we saw.

Glad you’re not watching the recap thing. Not everybody needs to be spoon-fed the implications of the plot and I know that you two motherfuckers are smart cookies. Don’t need that shit. It’s rewarding on a rewatch, though.

Best part of this shows is the lack of good guys and bad guys, just f*cked up people climbing that ladder…

The primary motivating forces in this series are selfishness and the pursuit of power. Succession isn't necessarily a series about change. It's a series about how people *don't* fundamentally change (for the most part). In that way, Succession is closer to something like The Sopranos than it is to Breaking Bad.
