I predict two possible outcomes: either he betrays someone who didn't deserve it and fucks his entire career, or he betrays someone who did deserve it and ends up with a really strong position. Greg has been making some smart moves all throughout the show, plus this season he's showing some backbone, but he did become slimier than before and that's the reason I also predict a possible downfall. It's all gone a bit to his head, and he might overplay his cards.

@@zrb901 Yeah, exactly, he was even more central at the beginning of the show. Him deciding to try to get close to his uncle was basically the original catalyst for the show and the audience’s ticket into the Roy family. He’s the show’s way of giving us an outsiders perspective so we don’t forget that the Roys have lives completely removed from the rest of us. Like, even most “rich” people couldn’t relate to the level of wealth the Roy’s have.
@mockturtlesuppe Жыл бұрын
Yeah, Greg started out as our audience surrogate/comic relief that provided a large share of the narrative framework for _at least_ the first couple of episodes. Not to pile on here, but I think you’re probably confusing the character’s status with the prominence of the role. It’s a pretty big part.

Sorry, I haven't watched the show. KZbin opened a portal and I fell into it. But how is it plausible that a person like Greg Hirsch exists near the top echelons of a business dynasty? From the clips he seems to be comically incompetent and lack the necessary inhumanity/viciousness to survive? Even if he was born into it surely he'd be happier just being a silent partner getting his dividend. And surely the real sociopaths that thrive at that level wouldn't want him around making them look weak by association?
