Beautiful video. Thank you for showing us how to do this at home. Everything is so expensive eating out now. These are like $30 dollars, if you buy them in the store for a dozen. So, thank you for helping us learn how to do it and to save that precious money. We are not eating out as much now, and we are learning to cook better, since Covid days of having to cook at home. Thus, this is a great way to do this. All of us appreciate your great channel.

I use duck spray also even though I eat skinless chicken legs . I have that chicken leg rack and it's good to cook chicken wings in. With the chicken wings elevated off the grate, the wings get crisper.
@BehindTheFoodTV2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good idea! I will be making a chicken wing video soon but I usually use a rotisserie. Maybe I will compare the two methods? Anyway thanks for watching and sharing! -Al

I’ve had those racks for some years now, can easily fit two side by side in the Weber Q3200… and amazingly they are half the price you quoted here downunder 🤣👍 Love idea of putting on the bbq glaze, yummo 🤩

@@absoz thanks! I was surprised how much of a difference it makes hanging the drums rather than laying them on the grill like we used to do. I think it has to do with self basting.

Organic Chicken I buy has feathers, blood and slime under the skin and needs a wash. I’ll clean the sink. This rub is now a must have on our chicken and sometimes on meat and dare I say….some veggies 😆

Looks fantastic Al! Why not regular water? And I might try this with a whole chicken as well!
@BehindTheFoodTV3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Brian! I use this same brine approach with whole chickens - it makes a huge difference! The reason you don’t use just tap water without boiling it is that it’s just got too many impurities to house chicken for so long. Just boil the water and chill it if you don’t keep distilled water around and you will be fine. Thanks for watching and always taking the time to comment. You are appreciated!

Turn each "wing"? yeah... as someone who isn't a fan of legs that would probably be the way to get me to eat them. Great job with these! But you can have the legs, I'll pass. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Al, they look tasty as! I’ve got a kamado joe classic and was wondering if you’ve used the drumstick rack in your bg egg? And if you have, any chance you’d fit 2 of them in there? was thinking these would be great for serving as snacks or whatever for a poker night or similar as they’re so easy to cook after a bit of prep work and great finger food 👍🏼
@BehindTheFoodTV3 жыл бұрын
Hey Makesy, thanks for the kind words and you’re right they would be perfect for a poker night (especially if I’m invited)!. I can fit 2 of them on the BGE XL (equivalent to a Big Joe), but I think for the Large 1 is probably the limit. -Al
