'Such a Lovely Way' - The Substitutes featuring Ronnie Charles

Written by Brian Cadd, this song was a top ten hit in Australia n 1969 and became the final single for highly respected band, The Groop. Ronnie Charles was the singer in that band from 1966 until its break up in May 1969. Here he reprises the song backed by the Substitutes.

Epic :) I have a memory of The Groop miming to this on Uptight or one of those shows and they started before Ronnie was on stage and he ran on miming to a broomstick or something

Wow ,I 'am 54 years young and am blown away by this song and the fact it was written by an Aussie Rock Star and Sung By a Aussie Rock Band The Group! So many Aussie bands and singular Aussie singers whom had smash hits or hits by other overseas artists that went ballistic over this era is mind blowing. There needs to be a full on t.v show dedicated to all of our Aussie Rock Stars and bands . Put together and shown Nationally as well as put into our National Archives for future developments .
