Good choice Kauffdrop!! The song is like a punch in the gut. More of a music project by Reznor than a band. Great mix of rock and electronic. Not to forget Reznor's qualities as a songwriter, which is particularly clear when you listen to Johnny Cash's great version of the song "Hurt". "Wish" is a song full of frustration, anger and rebellion against external constraints. Emotional anger and nihilism as one of the central themes of NIN, coupled with social criticism and perceived loss of control, seasoned with a touch of irony. As far as I know, they are touring Europe again in the summer for the first time in a long time.

Thanks. This song rocks. They are touring the US as well. I think I am the only person alive that likes NIN Hurt better than Cash. Don't get me wrong, I love Cash and his works. Just partial to the orginal.

One of my favorite songs ever. He has to be the best lyricist that's ever recorded. The whole Pretty Hate Machine album is goated especially from a lyricist pov.
