I was honored to interview the creator behind the Instagram page, WomenOfSudan, Razan. She is a politics major at the University of Cambridge. In this interview, Razan was able to break down the current war in a digestible way for anyone who wants an introduction to the atrocities taking place right now in Sudan. We talked about why this war began?, what the fight is for?, who is behind the war?, who are the key players funding and reinforcing this war?, and what we can do to help end the war that has taken thousands of Sudanese lives.
I wanted to help raise awareness about the Sudanese war because I understand the importance of people connecting their struggles. Our liberation can only happen in tandem. Free Sudan.

Thank you! I wanted to make sure the interview felt like a discussion with a friend who was knowledgeable about an issue and not like you’re watching a news network speak on it like they’re handing in a college thesis on the topic.
