Here is the Candice's recipe - Candice Marie’s Body Butter Shea Butter: 15% Kokum Butter: 15% Cocoa Butter: 15% Mango Butter: 30% Avocado Oil: 4% Jojoba Oil: 4% Coconut Oil: 15% Vitamin E Oil: 2% Arrowroot Powder (or Tapioca Powder/Flour/Starch or Cornstarch): 2.5-2.75% Total Recipe Weight Mica: Your preference Fragrance Oil:up to 5% Total Recipe Weight 16oz recipe Shea Butter- 2.40oz …

Thanks Jen. If you had not made the tops peaked up I bet the last jar would have been full. We bought a refurbished Kitchen Aid stand up mixer which saves $100-$250 depending on which model you buy. FYi

Hi jen, I got my mixer at WalMart and works great for all my skin care products, you don't want to get an expensive one just to use on skin care products.. mine costs like $30 and I have had it for about 3 years, I use it to make whipped body butter, just about anything that I have to make, but it also works really great for blending all the dry ingredients than all the butters etc.. super easy and nice.. :)

Thanks for the video!!!! It's funny, I want this mixer, it would be nice to have both. I don't use my kitchen aid often. I use my food processor mostly, but for cooking food.

can you help me please understand the percentages. it's very confusing for me as to how much I am supposed to put in. I know this might be a silly question but it does confuse me a little. please help.

Hi Noemi, I don't know if you figured out the percentage thing, but take the amount of ounces you want to make,, then multiply it by the percent you want then hit the % button. ie, 16 x 72 %= 11.52 oz. Hope this helps

Hey Jen, I don't know where you get your SLS and other Crafter's Choice items, but I found a supplier that is the least expensive I have found. It is Soap and Things. Just thought I'd share. They have awesome customer service, too.

I made a slurry n added it when I began whipping

I make a slurry with a carrier oil and add it before whipping. hope that helps

Aren't you a little rey of sunshine daria :/. Jen that looks wonderful. So creamy. How does it feel/soak in? I've not used arrowroot powder before. Only tapioca so far.

not sure if rey of sunshine is a compliment or not but they turned out great and soaks in in under a minute. not greasy at all.

Alina Ichim you can easily convert the amounts into ounces yourself with a quick simple google search. for example type in 50g into ounces. etc. and it will pop up with your answer.

Video was nice but you left a lot of product in the bowl. Perhaps next time you can use your spatula to scrape the sides when mixing.
