@@rslin4888 because he couldn't get a job after all the ordeals, it is an epic case of committed and convicted, you break the law you go to jail. He didn't expect he will be dealt with when he made remarks and shouted in speakers' corner attempting to get to the papers, and forgotten at that time that he don't have 7-8 figures in the bank account that could sustain him without employment. I kinda agree. Every time i watch the podcast with my P6 niece, she understands most of the content and frown in puzzle why these adults who think like that. She loves to read history books and sometimes i thought she might know more than i do, and she likes to watch PJ's podcasts, because it gives her topic to criticise adults and sometimes laughed on their opinions. "omg he/she is crazy" is just one of the common reaction and i would tell her that this is all but human nature and opinions, and that propaganda happens everywhere, including Singapore, and that we must uphold the right values or even listen to the propaganda that leads Singapore into better future.

Unfortunately, nobody is allowed to defame another person or carry out political assault with rumor based on pretense of propagating democratic value and freedom in Singapore, it's a country ruled by law where libelous attacks can be settled in a court of law, and truth is allowed to be told at last. It is a choice made to embark on the journey of activism, and have a sensible, logical thinking of the need to "represent" people in doing so. Consequence is part of every action taken. If i need to be pure true with my words, it will be so discouraging to activists out there. To put it bluntly, activism in Singapore is almost redundant, and almost make activists seem to have other personal agenda than fighting for the people what not. If activism is your interest, you should find a more meaningful space in Taiwan and break them free from China, of course before that happen, you need to become a Taiwanese.
