Singapore's Prime Minister's Office vs New Naratif

On 21 Sept 2020, New Naratif Managing Director PJ Thum was interrogated for four and a half hours, had his mobile phone and laptop seized, and his home invaded by the Singapore police. He sits down with Sean Francis Han to explain what exactly the Elections Department of the Prime Minister's Office is accusing New Naratif of having done, how this is an abuse of the law and demonstrates the accuracy of New Naratif's criticisms of Singapore's People's Action Party (PAP) government, and how this is part of a long standing campaign of harassment and intimidation by the PAP government against New Naratif. PJ, keep centred, do not veer away from the core issues. There is little to suggest they've a lot against you. Remember, equality before the law is constitutionally protected. No sane government will subject its questionable conduct to scrutiny under a court of law unless they consider themselves above the law. In which case, whatever the outcome, you win. It's a David and Goliath no brainer. But guess who won?

Mr thum, your name isn’t that of a singaporean, has it ever occurred to you that Singapore’s given immigrants like you a chance in life that your own birth country would most never have done so. You have received good education, English language learning privilege, a safe childhood in a low crime country like Singapore.
