Tommy was born in 1987 so he was a child of the 80's and I think his Dad had a big hand at playing music to him when he was a child so he probably has fond memories of that time. I think the car is a Delorean from Back to the Future which is his big obsession along with Gremlins 😊

I recognized the melody as a very lighthearted disco ditty from my younger days, the chorus in Swedish 'Where do we sleep tonight'. One of those silly songs that somehow got stuck in your head. Tommy certainly transformed it into something more worth listening to.

Uppfödd med aktiv GAIS spelare som lärare och fanatisk fan till lillebror, en styvfar höll på IFK, nästa på ÖIS och sedan bodde jag nära Häckens hemmaplan. Numera bor jag inom Elfsborgsområdet och har ändå lyckats undgå varenda match från samtliga lag. Här misstänker jag att du säger upp bekantskapen, men vi kan båda gilla Tommy.

I loved this song ever since I was a little girl and Tommy's cover is fantastic. As usual, he upgraded the song, adding just enough to make it his own, but keeping the spirit of the song. Those cars on Tommy's desk are DeLoreans from Back To The Future - his favourite movie. As I mentioned in a previous video, please check out light Of The World by ReinXeed, it's a beautiful song and Tommy said it's a song that means most to him of all the songs he wrote. All Swedes are very familiar with this melody because a Swedish band made a cover with Swedish lyrics of it that a´was very popular. But the lyrics in the Swedish version arre different, more to the point, the title is "Var ska vi sova inatt (Where should we sleep tonight)". The lyrics is more direct and yo thr poiny than the Italian version.

Catching on Friday morning before pretending I can work. Listening to tommy just always works. Not a clue on the words but the whole thing was great anyhow. Tommy has commented on the DeLorean behind him there, I mentioned some thing in one of his last videos, and he said that’s why I haven’t shown you all my guitars yet I’m not totally sure what that meant unless he’s planning on doing a back to the future song which I think would be cool.
