Tommy exclusively plays Charvel guitars. This was a brilliant arrangement bc he put Pachelbel (my kryptonite, on guitar) in the middle. He's a big guy...compared to the rest of Sabaton, he's a beast, in size, but what a goofy well balanced guy! Who can hit an F sharp 5 like it's fricken nothing!! I really got a sense of his personality watching the Sabaton vlogs from the 2020 tour. Still don't like the band, but I've always got Fridays to see him share another impressive video. I don't know one Disney song...but I'm loving his DisneyTON songs! Absolutely obsessed with this kid!!

I remember back in the day when Charvel-Jackson guitars were all the rage! Late 80’s early 90’s. I always like the way they looked. I’m not as big as Tommy but I’m pretty big and have a pretty long finger span. But it never came in handy on the guitar. On the piano I can stretch but not guitar. My youngest daughter called yesterday and told me she wants to learn to shred:) I told her to listen to Tommy. You and suesue agree on Sabaton although she’s gracious to them on our reactions I really like them largely due to their simple melody lines and chord structures. It’s music that I can follow sometimes without trying to hard if that makes sense Love difficult music and thought provoking lyrics but every now and then I need me some Sabaton!

@@SueSueandthewolfman Yes! I remember when Charvel-Jacksons were rhe rage! It's not that I dislike Sabaton, I just don't love them. I do suggest having her watch their vlogs from The Great Tour 2020...I really got a better sense of the band as ppl, which make them more palatable. Tommy puts up "how to" tutorials on his channel...but she needs to learn the basic stuff 1st. I wanted to.play guitar when I was young, but my fingers are all double jointed at the tip joint, and I can't bend them without accidentally locking them up. Luckily, I HEAR music like a musician so I'm great to have around at sound check!

Tommy Johansson is just Super skilled !!! Seems like he master all kinds of instruments....inculding his voice!!!! By the way , I never forget where I heard the Swedish melodic metal band "Amaranathe for the first time (Best friends of Sabaton they are ) ... and their mighty song " "Drop Dead Cynical" It was at a Packers game ... (Packers vs Cowboys if I am not misstaken... Go check out if you want?

This is incredible, Tommy can make any song his own and make it good. You need to check out his Disneyton, start with Swedish Pagans (listen to Sabaton first) and then Tommy's Disney version

Tommy is young, but not as young as he looks, he'll be 35 in october, so both as a singer and as a guitarist he is in his prime. You should check out his band Majestica (he is the songwriter), you can start with Above the sky, really great song.

As a singer, you're right. But the instrumentalists get only better and better. (See Vladimir Horowitz playing the piano at his age in his 80s. A bit cheeky reaction this time. If u think about it, suesue and the 16yo boy has 1 thing in common... Their thirst go far above the sky and beyond their age=) Tommy has a sound that playes soo soft n hard all at one time. Then i think its easier writing a solo i u got a set course like a cover or a story driven song as Sabaton. Cheers from Gothenburg as befor.

You dont know what an Elf looks like... So I guess you never played Skyrim than either Easiest way to describe what an elf looks like.... You know what Vulcans ( Star Trek ) look like... Mr. Spock with his pointy ears.... Elves usually possess some magical powers and have amazing bow skills.
