What happens to the non recyclable material that is not the quality required spec for srf?

Hi Gary, thank you for your question. This type of waste would be sent off as refuse derived fuel, which has a lower calorific value. SRF and RDF both help to divert waste away from landfill by turning residual waste into alternative fuel. If it’s not suitable for RDF or SRF then it will go to an energy from waste facility.
