I got karma captured later killed.... Saved Harper over farid and got mason alive all in one but I at least didn't skip the strike force even if I lost one so maybe that was it.

The obama is lost, if you dont complete the strike force missions (Which require the tutorial to understand how it works, or else you think its the same as the main missions) china becomes your enemy and don’t save the obama in which kills Karma, thats why you got the English scientist who couldn’t stop the celerium from hacking the entire world, whereas Karma can cause she worked on celerium for years. Otherwise your better off to shoot Menendez, which would give you the series canon ending. Everyone lives but due to Menedez’s death riots begin and the world is changed forever, leading to the story in BO3 and BO4, timeline order BO4 then BO3 (for some reason).

Fun fact the choices you make impacts the ending. But also throughout different missions small different cutscenes. Especially in server room where salazar betrays us there is like 5 different scenarios depending on your decision or more. And a glitched cutscene where everyone is alive in that moment Bo2 was ahead of its time Edit: The last mission was thr best compared to othet CODS especially when gliding down the multiplayer theme was playing! LOVE THIS CAMPAIGN also you got the bad end

I believe Hudson wasn’t the mole in the cia. I can understand how seeing him being so ignorant of there being a mole sounds suspicious but we gotta understand his character. He probably thought in his head that there was no way there could be a mole with how “secure” the cia is in black ops universe. He definitely wasn’t perfect but he did what he had to do to make sure David wouldn’t die.

I think it's also worth noting that Woods is biased and as a result unreliable about Hudson. Woods has always been distrustful of the CIA and CIA types and didn't like Hudson even when they first met in BO1. Woods only thinks Hudson was the great evil mole all along because ultimately from his POV what happened was a giant case of confirmation bias. But truthfully the entire situation was way more complex.

Second chance is your another chance to save Karma (Chloe Lynch), not a strikeforce mission, u have to fulfill all 4 strikeforce missions (not included 'Second Chance') so u will get the Best Ending.

I remember the promotional stuff for this game back in 2012 talked a lot about how they predict drone warfare as the future of combat. The campaign was made based on that concept. Basically this was their vision of what 2025 war would be like back in 2012. And, looking at Ukraine, Israel, and everything else going on in the world, it's amazing and scary how close they got. A drone swarm is definitely something we'll unfortunately be seeing on the news soon. Great playthrough! I love how much you tried to engage with the story and the characters!

Ive talked to veterans that were in the special froces back in the 80s and they said that the goverment already had that technology back then but they were still testing it. It the only thing they were willing to say since they also are limited to what they can talk about. If they said such thing back then they would have been in trouble but since everybody can see it now they dont mind them revealing that.

That ending was the bad ending for this game in order to get the good ending don't shoot mason in the head, shoot his leg twice after you do that you will get something called family reunion at the end shoot menendez and you will get a very wholesome ending. When i got this ending i cried so much and i was cheering I'm like i did it!! Yes!! You should definitely do a reaction to what i told you it'll be great you won't regret it!

Alex is my favorite cod character partially because of his OG voice actor, 2:13 not sure who you were referring to here Alex or frank but if you like Alex masons voice actor (Sam Worthington) you should watch the movie "Hacksaw RIdge" if you havent already, Sam Worthington plays as Captain Jack Glover. Sam is also Australian doing American accents in both hacksaw ridge & him voicing Alex mason. its one of my favorite movies of all time and black ops 1 is my favorite game ever, Sam Worthington just does great stuff. also loved this and black ops 1, glad to see what else you play! also sam worthington plays someone in avatar i personally have never seen it. also if your looking for suggestions on games to play next, you should play the OG Call of duty Modern Warfare Series, (Modern warfare 1, 2 & 3) its my 2nd favorite "storyline" with the Black ops one being 1st obviously🤣

Such a good Call Of Duty Campaign. The one thing I’ve always been conflicted about is Alex Mason is one of the coolest characters in Call of Duty. But with that being said this ending with you shooting him in the leg and surviving I’ve never liked. To me I just can’t think of a way they could explain him just being gone for 30 years and it making sense.

Black ops 6, which comes out this year, October 25, 2024, is a direct sequel to Cold war(Early 80's) being set around the time of the gulf war (late 80's early 90's) , It's also a direct sequel to black ops 2's 2025 setting, unlike Black Ops 3 which was set between 2065 and 2070

Love the playthroughs lol. I feel like the story rattled you super hard, and it got to your gameplay, which contributed to the levels getting harder 😂 nice to know COD can hit hard emotionally too

Hi Sky! Mason stayed hidden for 30 years to protect David. If Raul had found out mason was still alive, David would’ve been in danger. So to avoid it, mason decided to stay way from David to not be hunted by Raul.

Its absolutely wild how close you were to the perfect ending on your first play through. Literally 1 Strike Force mission away. Asked all the right questions and had all the right observations about the story. I completely get not doing the final Strike Force mission from a gameplay perspective, though, they are genuinely the worst part of the game and on some level negatively impact the playthrough experience. Glad you enjoyed the rest, though, Suffer With Me is probably one of my favorite video game levels in terms of storytelling of all time.

My playthrough i remember back when this was still new and id just gotten it was lucky ... I got karma captured by defalco..... Finished all strike force even if i failed one or two.... Saved harper instead of farid so that got karma killed on the obama when Salazar revealed he was bad but didnt lose the ship tho it was battered. Captured Menendez in the end and still got the alex david and frank bit for the finale.

The one thing that stopped you from getting the best ending was not doing all the strike force missions. Had you done that then the USS Obama wouldn’t have been destroyed and Chloe and Briggs would have survived and Menendez would have stayed in prison

Good to see that you have completed one of my fav game. I would recommend you to play old “COD MW 2” and “Splinter Cell Blacklist” now.
