I want to go ahead and get this out of the way... music will be off! I wish that wasn't the case, but with copyright issues, I have to choose my battles wisely. I occasionally take the hit with these issues if the music feels incredibly important to the story. With me loving the first so much even though the music was off, I don't feel turning off the music will hinder my experience/ opinion in any way. I debated removing the intro bc of copyright but decided to solve that issue with editing. To answer a reoccuring issue- No, I can't leave the music on for myself and remove it during editing. 1. That would be an editing nightmare & 2. that would remove the actual game audio (SFX, dialogue) and I would rather have no music than remove that. Uploading games to KZbin comes with compromises sometimes. This is that! Hopefully you all can still enjoy the playthrough! Thanks for watching ❤

The actor who played Menendez is Kamar De Los Reyes. He was a very kind and gentle person. He unfortunately passed last year and was a close friend to the actor who plays Woods. His name is James C Burns. Who is a good friend of mine. But I hope you enjoy Black Ops 2! It's one of my all-time favorite campaigns!

(OG MW) Ik ppl argue that him being written as an extreme nationalist discredits his malevolence because it isn't personal, but he managed to manipulate multiple nations and pit them against each other. When I found out Shephard was a traitor, I felt nothing and I wasn't surprised. MW failed to show more of his character, just used those cutscene audio files, so I didn't even form a positive impression of him. They laid the spotlight all on Makarov, Yuri, and Price, and neglected Shepard's for some reason. COD Ghosts was my first COD game, and it was a personal story. It showed early the dynamic of father and the sons. Then Rorke's backstory happened, he scared me so much as a kid, because the game showed that he was a threat to the family and he was out for vengeance with nothing to lose. Ofc he was brainwashed which kinda discredits it, but military brainwashing is very effective and terrifying.

Many of the choices you make in this game compared to the last one actually affect the ending! Make sure during major plot points you are mindful of what you choose. Choosing to kill or only injure people. Even being able to kill specific people in time, otherwise if you miss your chance, the whole story is affected.

That M27..... Look up the H&K 416... It's what the USMC adopted as the M27. Great weapon system. it's effectively am M16 with a gas piston and a much tougher barrel allowing for every troop to be able to be both a rifleman and a machinegunner. A lot of people don't realize that the M16/AR15 is NOT designed for continuous sustained fire. They can have select fire capability on the M16 or M4, but too much automatic fire in a short time frame will blow the gas tube or burn out the barrel much faster.

This is one of those games where gameplay affects the story. Some missions have story points that can have different results and can affect the rest of the game and story. There are multiple endings so if you want the best one, doing the strike force missions and succeeding helps but also make sure to pay attention cause not all choices are pick A or B. For example, Mason could have shot during the interrogation early and cut off some vital intel but since you resisted, you got all the details.

I do wanna say, I believe Woods being in the Angola and Woods being in Vietnam are two different events. In the the cutscene we see Woods look up at an American helicopter in Vietnam, and we we can also tell because Mason doesn't seem phased by Woods being alive when Hudson mentions him. Woods mention 1973, we can assume his recue from SE Asia was then, and the year in all the flashbacks in BO2 are 1986 so Woods' rescue from Angola was then. Also, It's the same guitar riff when Hudson Puts his glasses on from when he did it in the first game lol.

I'm not sure if someone already commented this for you, but Jonas Savimbi was a real guy. Before he was killed in a firefight in 2002, he had six assassination attempts against him and he was falsely reported dead at least 17 times. He was shot 15 times and somehow still was able to fight for a few moments before he finally died. Savimbi also had at least 25 children. Three of them sued Activision over his portrayal in Black Ops II but the lawsuit was rejected by the courts.

This was awesome, glad to see you're doing Black Ops 2 now. Also, very cool to see you do a Strike Mission. Most videos I've seen of people playing BO2 tend to skip the Strike Missions. I don't know if you know this, but BO2 has multiple endings depending on choices you make in the game, with one of the choices being if you complete Strike Missions. So I hope you do them. Sure, they might be the "low part" of the campaign, but imo, they are fun to play.

Every time I see this opinion, it is always so fascinating to me. To me, bo2 is the best campaign of all time. This game has the best main antagonist in COD and some of the best characters. It doesn't have a mind blowing plot twist at the end of the campaign but the story still stood up. Plus multiple ending and side missions. A lot say bo1 is the best while a lot say bo2 is the best. I'd says definitely bo2 has the most iconic campaign ever. Everybody played this along with mw2

I know this is too late as you’ve already finished, but some tips for future cod games. When throwing back a grenade, you have to be right on top of it to where it shows the icon that says you can throw it back. Just seeing the grenade icon means it’s within range to hurt you, but if you try to throw it back just seeing the grenade icon, you won’t, you’ll throw your own grenade. Another thing, always pay attention to guns on the ground and the icons that pop up. Remember you always have a secondary gun so you can always swap your secondary with a gun on the ground if you want. Also in these and later games, there will be attachments on the guns in the ground so pay attention to that if you’d rather have the weapon with some sort of optic, you can likely find one on the ground and it’ll say it has an optic when you step over it. Another thing is to pay attention to the audio a bit more. They tell you what you’re supposed to do or where you’re supposed to go. The reason you had so many instances where you didn’t know where to go or what to do and felt stupid about it was because you missed dialogue of them telling you. Just some helpful tips is all, I can’t blame you for it since this one is only your second ever CoD campaign, and you’re doing a playthrough on KZbin too so I know that takes some attention span away from the game and that’s why you always see KZbinrs miss obvious things in playthroughs vs if you were playing at home not worrying about recording or talking all the time. So I can’t blame you lol
