Most animatics follow it up with either rope or a net. I did see one where he got her on the boat, then shot her (he walked away after suggesting they jump together, so there was some distance between them when she jumped up), so I guess that one is kinda the middle ground. But yeah, I do also like the different interpreations we see in some where the Siren is visibly showing a 'I've never had to work this hard for a meal, what is this guy's damage?!' feel that just culminates in 'Fine, sure, whatever, just c'mon already!'

I _adore_ the way you animated her answering Odysseus’ question. Like she kind of got caught up in figuring it out, getting to flex her knowledge of the seas, and almost forgot what she was doing for a few moments. Then both snapping back into character with “Now get in the water!”

Penelope looked so ethereal, especially in the beginning! It was almost as if she wasn’t truly there, but rather superimposed on the background, not to mention a she seemed brighter than everything else, as if shading didn’t apply to her. It’s extremely fitting, given the context! Amazing!

Wonderful. :3 God Odysseus’ expressions are one of my favorite bits, too-the way his eyes almost NEVER match his smile, you can tell he’s just WAITING for his chance to strike. The way for a split second after being told about Scylla, when she splashes him, the facade nearly breaks-he’s as hungry for what’s about to happen as she is.

My favorite part of this animatic is the difference in Sirenelope's facial expressions in the chorus; at first she keeps up the act of being Ody's endearing wife, but after answering his question, her expression goes from soft and sweet to smug and sinister at 2:07 and 2:13 like she was sure that she's one step closer to her goal of securing her meal. I love this animatic so much it scratches my brain just right, really gorgeous

DAMN, this is an excellent animatic! I love the design of Siren! Penelope and of Odysseous, their facial expressions, clothing and hands were especially awesome! I also love the dauther deisgn and how it looked like she was made of water.
