oh, I love the 162. my favourite jet in the game, no question. long as you climb at the beginning of the game (8-9 degrees, to about 3.5km, then build speed more), you can destroy absolutely anything. if someone dives on you, extend away and zoom climb. so much fun to stall out a p-51h after he's just dived on you from 2km up and then you've slowly equalised energy

yes the 162 is amazing. tho you will get shot down when your team dies and you get focused. if you play it right you are pretty much untouchable in a downtier. Uptiers are meh.

the trick with this plane is to never bleed speed if you dont have to. dont turn fight the prop planes. they can out accelerate you, but if you stay near your max speed at all times "boom and zooming" they will nearly never catch up to you, this plane has the highest max speed on paper at it's br. you can cruise comfortably at 700km/h at any altitude. if you miss your first pass dont turn around right away, gain some distance and do a wide turn, it will conserve all of your speed when you get the feel for it. the most fun ive had in this game is with this jet, mostly in ground rb, with minimum fuel brought in for that extra bit of maneuverability, by the time the 7 mins of it runs out ive had 6 kills :D

I just unlocked this plane. It has its moments. When you don’t turn and stay at a good speed it has no trouble with other fighters

Even if this plane sucks, I can’t wait to get it. I need less than 40k RP to get it but I’m nervous to play my Ta 152 because of my high repair cost. Even with 2 kills I lose money. (But I do well enough in most ground matches that it will even out, and I got some GE recently so if I’m in a dire situation I can buy more money)
