I've never been to Suffolk myself, but Ian Woods grew up there and wrote this song. I love it and think that it goes farm beyond Suffolk now. So many things have changed and not for the better.

My Father was born in Suffolk in 1918 went to work as a farm labourer at the age of 14. Both parents dead by the time he was a teenager. He certainly didn’t want any of us to do that hard labour or live that hard life.
