Weirdly I got attracted to Islam, for the reason only that I had a deep feeling that there was something very mystical within the religion that most Muslims are oblivious to (for example the ritualism or praying a certain way, saying things a number of time and washing etc.) lead me to applying for the Shriners and now this showed up. Any information that can help me please guide me the right way, anyone. Thanks 🙏

I am attracted to religion because of my inner state, but fundementalists trigger me, and I run in the opposite direction. I have a lot of content that points in that direction, and I hope you can find some pointers here.

I have heard of people accusing specific people for imposing destructive religious beliefs upon them but most definitely if that is true I’m sure there are deeper meanings behind the allegories and the symbolism.
